An off-line uninterruptible power system and two line-interactive uninterruptible power systems are provided. The off-line uninterruptible power system and one of the line-interactive uninterruptible power systems additionally adopt a transformer for supplying an AC output, with lower voltage level than a rated output voltage, to at least one electrical device (especially those with resistive load characteristic). The other line-interactive uninterruptible power system controls its automatic voltage regulating circuit to supply an AC output, with lower voltage level than a rated output voltage, to at least one electrical device (especially those with resistive load characteristic).

The invention provides an uninterruptible power supply, which comprises a battery management circuit and a control circuit. The battery management circuit is electrically coupled to each battery of at least one battery string for measuring the voltage of each battery. When the battery strings discharge, the control circuit obtains the voltage of each battery through the battery management circuit to calculate the discharge current of each battery, and determines whether there is any measured voltage having dropped to an EOD voltage corresponding to a discharge current of a corresponding battery. When the determination result is positive, the control circuit controls the uninterruptible power system to stop the discharging of at least one battery string in which there is at least one measured voltage having dropped to an EOD voltage corresponding to a discharge current of a corresponding battery. Furthermore, a corresponding battery management apparatus is also provided.

Wires of the electronic device are mounted through the protecting tube so the wires pivot smoothly to connect the electronic device conveniently to a power supply. A universal series bus (USB) power supply has a DC power source, a USB power interface and a voltage modulation module. The USB power interface is for connecting to an electronic device that stores a default D+ voltage and a default D&#x2212; voltage. The voltage modulation module connects to and outputs signals to the D+ and D&#x2212; terminals of the USB power interface. If voltage levels of the output signals are not respectively identical to the default D+ and D&#x2212; voltages, the voltage modulation module changes the voltage levels of the signals output to the D+ and D&#x2212; terminals of the USB power interface until the voltage levels of the output signals are respectively identical to the default D+ and D&#x2212; voltages. Therefore, the USB power supply may be applied to any kind of electronic device that is charged over a USB interface.

The power saving uninterruptible power supply (UPS) has a first and second switches, an energy spared switch, a transformer, an automatic voltage regulator (AVR), a charger-and-inverter, a normal mode determination unit and an electric switch. When the utility power is stable, the first and second switches are connected together to supply the utility power to a load. At the time, the energy spared switch is physically disconnected with the utility power and the transformer and the AVR. Therefore, the transformer and AVR do not consume more energy of the utility power and the transforming efficiency of the UPS is increased.

A DC/AC adapter assembly has a DC/AC adapter and a cable. The cable transmits a power-overloading signal to the DC/AC adapter indicating whether power-overloading is occurring in the cable. The DC/AC adapter includes a controller circuit for controlling and adjusting an output alternating current of the DC/AC adapter based on the power-overloading signal to reduce power-overloading occurring in the cable.

A connection assembly for offsetting tilting caused by weight difference between two objects includes a first male connector, a second male connector linearly misaligned with the first male connector, a first female connector and a second female connector linearly misaligned with the first female connector. Both the first and second male connectors are formed on a first object and both the first and second female connectors are formed on a second object. Due to the misaligned relationship, weight of the combination between the first object and the second object is redistributed to avoid tilting.
