A touch module includes first and second mesh electrode layers respectively with first and second irregular mesh patterns. Line segments of the first irregular mesh pattern are configured to form a first radial pattern having a first intersection point by translation. A top X % fan-blade shape area of line segment density in the first radial pattern is defined as a first dense area, in which X is at least 10. Line segments of the second irregular mesh pattern are configured to form a second radial pattern having a second intersection point by translation. A top X % fan-blade shape area of line segment density in the second radial pattern is defined as a second dense area. When the first radial pattern and the second radial pattern are translated so that the first and second intersection points coincide, the first dense area and the second dense area do not overlap.

Touch module and method of manufacturing the same

A protective assembly includes a cover plate, a buffer layer, and a flexible substrate. The buffer layer is disposed on the cover plate and made of transparent polymer. The buffer layer has a light transmittance greater than about 85%, a thickness ranging from about 3 μm to about 15 μm, and a Poisson's ratio greater than about 0.4. The flexible substrate is disposed on the buffer layer and doped with an inorganic compound. The flexible substrate has a thickness ranging from about 3 μm to about 10 μm and a Young's coefficient ranging from about 1 GPa to about 10 GPa.

A detection method of a three-dimensional touch module includes: step S, providing an input signal to a transmitting electrode layer; step S, outputting a first output signal and transmitting the first output signal to a control module by a two-dimensional inputting assembly, and outputting a second output signal and transmitting the second output signal to the control module by a pressure sensing assembly; and step S, determining, by the control module, a touch position according to the first output signal and a pressure value according to the second output signal. A three-dimensional touch module includes: a cover plate; a two-dimensional inputting assembly disposed under the cover plate and configured to output a first output signal; a pressure sensing assembly disposed under the cover plate and configured to output a second output signal; and a transmitting electrode layer disposed between the two-dimensional inputting assembly and the pressure sensing assembly.

Three-dimensional touch module and detection method thereof

A cover plate used in an electronic device includes a glass layer and at least one transparent covering layer. The glass layer has a first surface and a second surface. The transparent covering layer contacts and is disposed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface, and the transparent covering layer is laminated with the glass layer. The cover plate has a Young's modulus of about 10 GPa to about 200 GPa.

A touch module includes a substrate, a bridging pattern layer, first and second insulating layers, and an electrode pattern layer. The bridging pattern layer, disposed on the substrate, includes a bridging electrode. The first insulating layer, disposed on the bridging pattern layer, includes first and second insulating blocks respectively formed at opposite ends of the bridging electrode and a third insulating block separately located between the first and second insulating blocks by two exposed regions of the first insulating layer. The electrode pattern layer, disposed on the first insulating layer, is electrically connected to the bridging electrode through the two exposed regions. The electrode pattern layer includes first and second transparent conductive layers and a metal layer and has two through hole regions directly above the bridging electrode. The second insulating layer, disposed on the electrode pattern layer, covers and fills the two through hole regions.

A three-dimensional sensing device includes a pressure sensing film, a silver nanowire electrode, a first touch sensing electrode layer, and a second touch sensing electrode layer. The pressure sensing film includes a substrate and a polarized pressure sensing layer. The polarized pressure sensing layer is disposed on and in contact with a first side of the substrate. The silver nanowire electrode is disposed on a side of the polarized pressure sensing layer opposite to the substrate. The first touch sensing electrode layer is disposed on and in contact with a second side of the substrate and includes a patterned electrode with burr etching. The patterned electrode includes first-axis electrodes. A gap between adjacent two first-axis electrodes is between 20 &#x3bc;m to 35 &#x3bc;m. The second touch sensing electrode layer is disposed on a side of the first touch sensing electrode layer opposite to the polarized pressure sensing layer.

An electronic device includes a cover plate, a touch sensing layer, and a display module. The cover plate includes a glass layer and at least one transparent covering layer. The glass layer has a first surface and a second surface. The transparent covering layer is disposed on and in contact with at least one of the first surface or the second surface of the glass layer and is laminated with the glass layer. The touch sensing layer is disposed under the cover plate. The display module is disposed under the touch sensing layer.

A touch sensing layer includes a first-axis conductive unit, a second-axis conductive unit, and at least one dummy electrode. The first-axis conductive unit substantially extends along a first axial direction. The second-axis conductive unit substantially extends along a second axial direction and includes two conductive electrodes and a conductive bridge. The two conductive electrodes are respectively located at opposite sides of the first-axis conductive unit. An electronic device includes a substrate, a Wheatstone bridge circuit, a power module, and a controller. The Wheatstone bridge circuit includes a first pressure sensing electrode disposed on the substrate. A resistance of the first pressure sensing electrode varies with pressure applied to the first pressure sensing electrode. The first pressure sensing electrode is coil-shaped. The power module is electrically connected to the Wheatstone bridge circuit. The controller is configured to control the power module to provide direct current (DC) to the Wheatstone bridge circuit within a first period of time, and to control the power module to provide alternating current (AC) to the Wheatstone bridge circuit within a second period of time.
