A modular filter system includes a wideband combiner, which includes an antenna connector and wideband filter connectors, and multiple filter modules. A first filter module includes a first connector configured to pass a first frequency band. The first filter module includes a combiner connector configured to pass the first frequency band, which is coupled to the combiner connector. The second filter module includes second, third, fourth, and fifth connectors configured to pass second, third, fourth, and fifth frequency bands, respectively. The second filter module further includes a combiner connector configured to pass the second, third, fourth, and fifth frequency bands, which are coupled to the combiner connector.

Wideband modular filter/duplexer system

A modular filter system includes a front panel, a back panel, and a multiband combiner coupled to the front panel, the combiner including an antenna connector and filter connectors. The modular filter system further includes filter modules separate from the combiner, each filter module including first and second connectors to pass respective frequency bands, and a combiner connector to pass the frequency bands. Each filter module is configured to duplex, combine, or split first signals in the first frequency band and second signals in the second frequency band. The combiner connector of each filter module is coupled to a respective filter connector using a respective cable. The modular filter system further includes a fixing system comprising bars and plates, the bars coupled to the front and back panels using fasteners, wherein the bars and plates are configured to secure the filter modules between the combiner and the back panel.

Modular filter/duplexer system

Systems and methods for phasing line holders are described herein. In certain embodiments, an apparatus includes a groove in a conductive body. Additionally, the apparatus includes a phasing line for electrically coupling a plurality of components, the phasing line extending through the groove. Further, the apparatus includes a holder inserted into the groove, the holder maintaining the phasing line at a specific position in relation to a plurality of groove surfaces, wherein a plurality of holder surfaces apply sufficient pressure to the plurality of groove surfaces to secure the holder within the groove.

Certain aspects are directed to a thermal fuse for preventing overheating of RF devices in a telecommunication system. In one embodiment, an RF thermal fuse comprises a body: a conductive bolt positioned in the body, the conductive bolt having a length sufficient to provide an impedance at a point of protection on a transmission line in response to the conductive bolt contacting a live conductor of the transmission line, wherein the impedance reflects a portion of the incident power of an RF signal from an RF signal source; and a driving mechanism that causes the conductive bolt to selectively contact the live conductor in response to an event.

RF thermal fuse

Certain aspects are directed to a thermal fuse for preventing overheating of RF devices in a telecommunication system. The RF thermal fuse includes a body, a conductive bolt, and a driving mechanism. The body can be positioned on a transmission line between an RF signal source and an RF device. The conductive bolt is positioned in the body. The conductive bolt has a length sufficient to provide impedance at a point of protection on the transmission line in response to the conductive bolt contacting a live conductor of the transmission line. The impedance is sufficient to reflect a portion of the incident power of an RF signal from the RF source. The driving mechanism can cause the conductive bolt to contact the live conductor in response to a temperature at or near the point of protection exceeding a threshold temperature.
