The UE may perform at least one adjustment to a transmission parameter or a reception parameter based at least in part on the indication of the loss of coherence. For example, the adjustment to the transmission parameter may include adjusting a transmit power, adjusting a transmit frequency, adapting a transmission time, changing an antenna port, or a combination thereof. Additionally, or alternatively, the adjustment to the reception parameter may include refraining from joint channel estimation across a plurality of slots, adjusting a downscaling parameter or a frequency tuning associated with at least one reception antenna, refraining from blind decoding, or a combination thereof. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) generally including receiving signaling indicating one or more values for a scheduling offset between a downlink slot where downlink control information (DCI) is received and an uplink slot for transmitting a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) scheduled by the DCI; determining an additional offset to be used in conjunction with the scheduling offset values to determine PUSCH transmission timing; determining a power control adjustment for a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission based on transmission power control (TPC) commands received in a time interval determined by one of the scheduling offset values and the additional offset; and transmitting SRS in an SRS transmission occasion, in accordance with the determined power control adjustment.

In some aspects, a wireless communication device may obtain, at an access stratum (AS) layer, an indication of an inter-satellite link (ISL) activation that is to take place at an activation time. The wireless communication device may release the communications from the buffer to an upper protocol layer at a rate of release that is to change between a transition start time and the activation time. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Described techniques provide for mitigating error in time or frequency adjustments for preambles of a random access procedure. A user equipment may use one value for the adjustment when transmitting data to a non-terrestrial network, but then transmit the preamble of a random access procedure according to a preamble-specific time or frequency adjustment based on one or more indications received from the network (e.g., rather than resetting the adjustment to '0'). By using some signaled value for the preamble-specific timing or frequency adjustment rather than resetting the adjustment to “0,” preamble reception performance may be maintained or improved with as many or fewer position measurements for the UE or non-terrestrial network entity.

Closed loop time and frequency corrections in non-terrestrial networks

Certain aspects of the present disclosure are directed to techniques for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook design. For example, a user equipment (UE) configured for feedback processing may comprise a memory and a processor configured to receive, from a base station (BS), a first indication of a first feedback process type for providing feedback to the BS for a plurality of feedback processes of the UE. The memory and the processor may also be configured to receive one or more first downlink transmissions from the BS associated with at least one feedback process of the plurality of feedback processes. The memory and the processor may also be configured to transmit feedback or withhold transmission of feedback to the BS regarding decoding of the one or more first downlink transmissions according to the first feedback process type.

Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook design

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for selecting a first orthogonal cover code (OCC) codeword from an OCC matrix for a transmission occurring during a first transmission time interval based on a first pseudo-random codeword allocator function, such as a first pseudo-random permutation matrix, corresponding to the first transmission time interval; and sending the transmission during the first transmission time interval using the first OCC codeword.

A user equipment (UE) may identify a time period during which the UE is configured to receive grants scheduling communications for the UE, wherein the grants are associated with a first grant format type.
