An optical transceiver apparatus and an optical signal processing method. The optical transceiver apparatus may include a light source, an optical signal processor, and an optical path selector. The light source is separately connected to the optical signal processor and the optical path selector, and the optical signal processor is connected to the optical path selector. The light source is configured to provide a first local oscillator optical signal and a first carrier optical signal. The optical signal processor is configured to modulate the first carrier optical signal and output a first modulated optical signal. The optical path selector is configured to transmit the first local oscillator optical signal and the first modulated optical signal to the optical signal processor or a transmission fiber. Herein, the transmission fiber is configured to transmit an optical signal to an outside of the optical transceiver apparatus.

Optical transceiver apparatus and optical signal processing method

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide example frequency domain equalization methods, example equalizers, example optical receivers, and example systems. One example method includes obtaining, by an optical receiver, a first complex signal. The first complex signal is a first time domain signal. The first complex signal is obtained based on two channels of mutually independent digital electrical signals. The optical receiver converts the first complex signal into a frequency domain signal, and multiplies the first complex signal in frequency domain by a tap coefficient to obtain a second complex signal. The tap coefficient is used to implement signal compensation for the first complex signal in frequency domain. The optical receiver converts the second complex signal into a second time domain signal, divides the second time domain signal into two channels of real signals, and outputs the two channels of the real signals.

Frequency domain equalization method, equalizer, optical receiver, and system

A coherent optical receiving apparatus including a polarization optical splitter, a polarization controller, an optical hybrid unit, and a combiner. The polarization optical splitter is connected to an input terminal of the optical hybrid unit, and an output terminal of the optical hybrid unit is connected to the combine. The polarization optical splitter receives signal light and local oscillator light in any polarization mode, decomposes the signal light into a plurality of beams of sub signal light, and decomposes the local oscillator light into a plurality of beams of sub local oscillator light. The optical hybrid unit obtains a plurality of beams of hybrid light by performing optical hybridization on the sub signal and sub local oscillator lights, the combiner performs conversion on the plurality of beams of hybrid light to obtain and output coherent electrical signals, and the polarization controller controls polarization of the local oscillator light.

One example optical transceiver includes an optical interface, an optical receiver, and a polarization-maintaining optical waveguide, where the optical receiver includes a mixer, an optical-to-electrical converter, an analog-to-digital converter, and a digital signal processor. The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method of processing a digital signal, wherein an input signal is transformed into the frequency domain by applying a fast Fourier transformation (FFT) processing to obtain a transformed input signal. Positive and negative frequency components of the transformed input signal are separated and respective ones of the separated positive and negative frequency components are separately processed by respective digital filtering to obtain filtered frequency components. The filtered frequency components are combined in the frequency domain using a down-sampling operation for down-sampling the filtered frequency components from an input number of samples per symbol to a different output number of samples per symbol, and the combined output components are converted into the time domain by applying an IFFT processing.

The optical transmitter includes an optical signal generator, N spreaders, N pairs of data modulators, and a combiner, where the optical signal generator generates N optical carriers; an ispreader spreads an ioptical carrier, to obtain a spread optical signal having two subcarriers; splits the spread optical signal into a first optical signal and a second optical signal; and delays the second optical signal to obtain a third optical signal; an ipair of data modulators modulate the first optical signal and the third optical signal to obtain a pair of modulated optical signals, transmit the pair of modulated optical signals to the combiner, where the pair of modulated optical signals reaching the combiner differ by 1/(4 fsi) in time domain; and the combiner combines, into one optical signal, N pairs of modulated optical signals.

A signal processing system and method, and an apparatus are provided. A phase recovery apparatus may be used to: receive a feedback signal fed back by an information iteration apparatus, perform, based on the feedback signal, phase recovery on a signal output by an equalizer, and output a phase-recovered signal to a post filtering apparatus, so that the post filtering apparatus performs noise filtering on the phase-recovered signal, and outputs a noise-filtered signal to the information iteration apparatus. To be specific, the phase recovery may be performed, based on the signal fed back by the information iteration apparatus, on the signal output by the equalizer. Because output of the information iteration apparatus is more accurate in determining the signal, precision of the phase recovery can be improved, cycle skipping is reduced, and input signal quality of the post filtering apparatus is improved.
