A scanner and a method for controlling the scanner for a Lidar system are provided. The method comprises: producing a trigger signal by a positional sensor of the scanner; generating a single drive signal comprising a first component at a first frequency and a second component at a second frequency, the first component and the second component are superposed with a fixed phase relationship with aid of the trigger signal; transmitting the single drive signal to the scanner, and the scanner has resonant responses at the first frequency; and actuating the scanner to move in a first periodic motion at the first frequency about a first axis, and move in a second periodic motion at the second frequency about a second axis.

Scanner control for Lidar systems

A distributed LiDAR comprises: an optical transceiver assembly, multiple distributed scanning units, and a distributed optical fiber connector assembly. The optical transceiver assembly includes: a light source emitting detection light, and a light receiving unit used for receiving a detection echo. The multiple distributed scanning units are distributed on the carrier of the distributed LiDAR. The distributed optical fiber connector assembly is in coupled connection with the optical transceiver assembly and the multiple distributed scanning units. The detection light emitted by the light source in the optical transceiver assembly is synchronously transmitted by the distributed optical fiber connector assembly to the multiple distributed scanning units. The multiple distributed scanning units emit the detection light to a detected area with a scanning device, and receive a reflected echo from the detected area. The reflected echo is transmitted to the optical transceiver assembly by the distributed optical fiber connector assembly.

Distributed laser radar

A method and an apparatus for improving the resolution of a LiDAR. The LiDAR includes a plurality of actual channels, each of which corresponds to one emitter unit at an emitting end and one detector unit at a detecting end. The method includes determining at least one interpolation channel to be generated; separately determining, for each interpolation channel to be generated, one or more associated channels among the plurality of actual channels; determining weights of the one or more associated channels with respect to the interpolation channel; and generating a waveform of the interpolation channel based on waveform information of the one or more associated channels and the weights thereof, and determining point cloud data of the LiDAR based on the waveform information of each actual channel and each interpolation channel. The solution of this disclosure can avoid increasing the hardware load thereon.

Method and apparatus for improving resolution of LiDAR, and LiDAR

The present invention provides a detection device and a method for adjusting a parameter thereof. The device includes a real-time collection module, configured to collect and obtain environment information in real time; a real-time location information obtaining module, configured to obtain location information in real time; a parameter determining module, configured to determine a value of a target parameter of the detection device based on at least either the obtained environment information or the obtained location information; and a parameter adjustment module, configured to adjust the parameter of the detection device in real time based on the determined value of the target parameter. Based on the present invention, the parameter of the detection device can be adjusted in real time, and the detection device can adapt to diversified road conditions and improve detection accuracy.

Detection device and method for adjusting parameter thereof

A Lidar system may comprise: a laser configured to emit a laser beam; a reflector configured to receive the emitted laser beam and allow at least a portion of the emitted laser beam to transmit through the reflector, the at least the portion of the emitted laser beam being detection light; a two-dimensional scanning galvanometer; and a detector. The two-dimensional scanning galvanometer is configured to reflect the detection light to scan across an environment, receive at least a portion of the detection light reflected by a target in the environment, the at least the portion of the detection light reflected by the target being receiving light, and reflect the receiving light towards the reflector. The reflector is further configured to reflect the receiving light towards the detector. The detector is configured to measure the receiving light to detect the target.
