Exemplary wearable computing systems may include a head-mounted display that is configured to provide indirect bone-conduction audio. For example, an exemplary head-mounted display may include at least one vibration transducer that is configured to vibrate at least a portion of the head-mounted display based on the audio signal. The vibration transducer is configured such that when the head-mounted display is worn, the vibration transducer vibrates the head-mounted display without directly vibrating a wearer. However, the head-mounted display structure vibrationally couples to a bone structure of the wearer, such that vibrations from the vibration transducer may be indirectly transferred to the wearer's bone structure.

An overlay generator recognizes specific types of content and metadata present on a web site, and retrieves additional content related to the web site from other sources. The overlay generator makes the additional content available in a web browser as an overlay or as a hyperlink, so that the additional content can be viewed in combination with the original web site content. For example, if a zip code is present on a web site, and the web site includes a static map showing points of specialized interest in that zip code, then the overlay generator recognizes the zip code as a specific type of content related to maps, and retrieves an interactive map of the zip code from a map service, and generates an overlay for superimposing the interactive map on the static map, so that the content of both maps is displayed in a single integrated map.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to controlling the functions of various devices based on spatial relationships. In one example, a system may include a depth and visual camera and a computer (networked or local) for processing data from the camera. The computer may be connected (wired or wirelessly) to any number of devices that can be controlled by the system. A user may use a mobile device to define a volume of space relative to the camera. The volume of space may then be associated with a controlled device as well as one or more control commands. When the volume of space is subsequently occupied, the one or more control commands may be used to control the controlled device. In this regard, a user may switch a device on or off, increase volume or speed, etc. simply by occupying the volume of space.

Systems and techniques are disclosed for visually rendering a requested scene based on a virtual camera perspective request as well as a projection of two or more video streams. The video streams can be captured using two dimensional cameras or three dimensional depth cameras and may capture different perspectives. The projection may be an internal projection that maps out the scene in three dimensions based on the two or more video streams. An object internal or external to the scene may be identified and the scene may be visually rendered based on a property of the object. For example, a scene may be visually rendered based on where an mobile object is located within the scene.

The research document is configured to maintain both the implicitly-generated data recorded by the system as well as data explicitly provided or collected by the user, such as retrieved document content and user notes, in a manner that is highly-organized and easy to access, augment, and maintain.

The present invention is directed to system, methods and computer program products for generating a graphical module for the display of a query-specific content. The method according to one embodiment comprises receiving a query, determining a category identifier for the query and retrieving a category template corresponding to the category identifier for the query. A first side arm extends from a first end of the center frame support, and an earpiece extends therefrom. Methods and systems are disclosed herein that may help to present graphics in a see-through display of a head-mountable display. An exemplary method may involve: (a) receiving image data that is indicative of a real-world field of view associated with a head-mountable display (HMD); (b) analyzing the image data to determine at least one undesirable portion of the real-world field of view, wherein the at least one undesirable portion is undesirable as a background for display of at least one graphic object in a graphic display of the HMD; (c) determining at least one undesirable area of the graphic display that corresponds to the at least one undesirable portion of the real-world field of view; and (d) causing the at least one graphic object to be displayed in an area of the graphic display such that the graphic object substantially avoids the at least one undesirable area.

Disclosed are methods and apparatus for experience sharing for emergency situations. A wearable computing device can receive an indication of an emergency situation. In response to the indication, the wearable computing device can initiate an experience sharing session with one or more emergency contacts. During the experience sharing session, the wearable computing device can capture video data, add text to the captured video data, and transmit the captured video data and added text to the one or more emergency contacts.

The method of the present invention comprises receiving the content item from a server and receiving a signal indicating keyboard utilization by the user to determine a specific key that the user presses.
