The disclosure relates to a self-adaptive oil spraying control system and method for a biodiesel engine. The control system includes an exhaust pipe, a gas sensor, a control module and an oil sprayer, wherein the exhaust pipe is connected to the oil sprayer, the gas sensor is mounted in the exhaust pipe, and the gas sensor and the oil sprayer are connected to the control module respectively. According to the control method, a main spray advance angle of the engine is subjected to closed-loop control directly through comparison between an idling steady state NOemission signal and an idling steady state NOemission value of pure diesel when the engine uses the biodiesel, so that emission of NOin the exhaust is reduced. Compared with the prior art, the disclosure has the advantages of no need of detecting a biodiesel ratio, high efficiency, good effect and the like.

Self-adaptive oil spraying control system and method for biodiesel engine

Techniques are provided for the scheduling of file pre-fetches from a file system into a cache memory, to reduce subsequent latency associated with future accesses to those files. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes monitoring accesses to files of the file system (e.g., file open and file read operations) and maintaining a record for each of the accessed files. The record includes an identifier of the file, the number of accesses of the file, and the number of cache memory misses associated with those accesses. The method also includes storing the record into a file access history database (FAHD). The method further includes generating, in response to an Operating System (OS) shutdown, a frequently used file list (FUFL) based on the FAHD. The method further includes pre-fetching files identified by a selected subset of the FUFL to the cache memory during an OS boot.

An air-fuel ratio control system for a hybrid vehicle engine is provided, including a torque coordination calculation module, which converts a target effective torque of a hybrid power control unit into a target indicated torque; a torque estimation module, which obtains an estimated indicated torque according to an operating state of an engine; an air-fuel ratio feedback control module, which generates a feedback correction factor based on deviation between the estimated indicated torque and the target indicated torque; and an air-fuel ratio feedforward control module, which converts the target indicated torque into an air-fuel ratio feedforward control signal according to a calibration parameter and engine speed. A target air-fuel ratio is obtained by correcting the air-fuel ratio feedforward control signal, via the feedback correction factor; and the target air-fuel ratio is configured to act on the engine to achieve air-fuel ratio control.

A method for diagnosing a diesel oxidation catalyst fault includes: obtaining an standard molar enthalpy of formation-revolution speed-load table; obtaining a revolution speed, a load, a temperature difference of front and rear exhaust pipes, and a casing temperature, obtaining an standard molar enthalpy of formation corresponding to the revolution speed and the load from the standard molar enthalpy of formation-revolution speed-load table, and calculating an actual formation enthalpy corresponding to the temperature difference of front and rear exhaust pipes and the casing temperature from the temperature difference of front and rear exhaust pipes and the casing temperature; calculating a standard reaction enthalpy from the standard molar enthalpy of formation and standard conversion efficiency; and diagnosing a diesel oxidation catalyst fault by comparing the actual formation enthalpy with the standard reaction enthalpy. The method is capable of realizing online fault diagnosis on a diesel oxidation catalyst without the disassembly of the diesel oxidation catalyst.

A method for controlling an exhaust after-treatment system based on NOmedium adjustment includes the following steps: creating a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) reaction map, a diesel particulate filter (DPF) reaction map, and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) reaction map; obtaining an SCR reaction temperature, desired SCR reaction efficiency, and obtaining NOdemand according to the SCR reaction map; obtaining a DPF reaction temperature and differential pressure, and obtaining NOconsumption from the DPF reaction map; obtaining NOproduction, and calculating NOinput for SCR; if the NOinput is not equal to the NOdemand, calculating target NOproduction, obtaining a target DOC reaction temperature corresponding to the target NOproduction from the DOC reaction map, and adjusting a fuel injection rate so that the DOC reaction temperature is equal to the target DOC reaction temperature.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system, and computer program product for allocating storage extents. Extent input/output information pertaining to an extent on a storage device is received, by a computer, where the extant input/output information includes an access rate of data stored on the extent. The computer determines one or more periods of time where the input/output information exceeds a preconfigured threshold. The computer generates one or more of a first policy and a second policy based on the determined one or more periods where the first policy includes allocating the extent to a high performance disk within a tier storage system when data is stored during the determined periods and the second policy includes reallocating the extent from a low performance disk within the tier storage system to a high performance storage device within the tier storage system during the one or more determined periods.

Allocating storage extents in a storage system

A mechanism is provided for balancing workload to one or more storage disks in a plurality of storage disks during redistribution or replication associated with adding or removing a storage disk to the plurality of storage disks. Historical information in collected information from the plurality of storage disks is analyzed to identify I/O operation patterns on a per storage disk level. An average amount of I/O operations that occur within each storage disk for a given time period are identified. For each storage disk that is impacted, a disk on/off-hoarding plan is generated that identifies a subset of I/O operations from a set of I/O operations to execute in the given time period using the average amount of I/O operations that historically occur within the storage disk that is impacted during the given time period. The subset of I/O operations are then executed in the given time period.
