A fastening assembly includes a fastening member, a locking member engaged with the fastening member, and an elastic member sleeved on the fastening member. The fastening member forms an arc resisting sidewall. The elastic member includes a main body and a plurality of elastic strips extending from a same side of the main body and spaced from each other. Each elastic strip gradually closes to an center axis of the main body along the direction of away from the main body. Each elastic strip forms an arc protrusion towards the center axis of the main body on an inner wall. The arc protrusion matches with the resisting sidewall.

A hinge mechanism includes a first rotation assembly, a second rotation assembly substantially parallel to the first rotation assembly, a first connection member, and a second connection member. The first and second rotation assemblies include a first and second pivoting shafts and a first and second brackets sleeved on the first and second pivoting shafts, respectively, and both the first and second brackets includes an engaging portion eccentrically formed on one end respectively thereof. The first connection member includes two pivotal portions. The pivotal portions are rotatably connected to the engaging portions of the first bracket and the second bracket, respectively. A support stand for display device includes a base seat, an elevating support, and a locking module detachably connected the elevating support to the base seat. The locking module includes a fixing member, a rotating member, an elastic member, and a latching member. The fixing member is fixed on one of the base seat and the elevating support, and the fixing member defines a gap and a latching groove. The rotating member is rotatably extended through the other one of the base seat and the elevating support, and the fixing member. The elastic member is sleeved on the rotating member, and abuts on the fixing member. The latching member is fixed on an end of the rotating member. The latching member is extended through the gap of the fixing member, and is engaged in the latching groove of the fixing member.

An electronic device includes a support mechanism and a main body. The support mechanism includes a pivoting assembly and a support member. The pivoting assembly includes a fixing member, a sliding member slidably mounted on the fixing member, a pivoting shaft rotatably connected to one end of the fixing member, and at least one torsion spring sleeved on and coiling around the pivot shaft. The torsion spring includes two assembling legs, one assembling leg of the torsion spring elastically resists against the fixing member. The support member is fixed to the sliding member. when the support member is wholly received in the main body, one surface of the support member tightly contacts the main body via an elastic force generated by the torsion spring; and when the support member is moved away from the main body, the support member is rotated by the elastic force.

A hinge mechanism includes two pivot shafts substantially parallel to each other, two main gears non-rotatably respectively sleeved on the pivot shafts, a transmission assembly positioned between the two pivot shafts to transmit a torque of one of the two main gears to the other in a reverse direction, and a connecting member defining two shaft holes. The pivot shafts are respectively rotatably received in the shaft holes. Two contact assemblies are respectively mounted on the pivot shafts abutting the connecting member. One of the connecting member and each main gear forms at least one detent, and the other defines at least one recess correspondingly. The at least one detent is received in the at least one recess.

Hinge mechanism

A linkage mechanism includes a fixing member, a rotary member, a support member and a sliding module. A first end of the rotary member is rotatably assembled to the fixing member. A first end of the support member is rotatably hinged to the second end of the rotary member, and the second end of the support member is hinged with the sliding module. The sliding module includes a sliding member and a sliding rod slidably assembled to the sliding member. The sliding member is slidably mounted to the fixing member, and further hinged to the second end of the support member. The sliding member defines a sliding hole. The pivot shaft defines a through hole in a radial direction thereof. The first cam and the second cam are sleeved on the pivot shaft, the first cam defines two pairs of recesses at one end surface thereof, and the second cam defines a groove at one end surface thereof facing the first cam. The rolling assembly positioned between the first cam and the second cam includes a pin and two rolling bearings sleeved on opposite ends of the pin.

A coupling mechanism includes a pivot assembly and a lifting assembly. The pivot assembly includes a first bracket, a pivot pin, a second bracket, and a cam piece. The second bracket is rotatably mounted to the first bracket via the pivot pin and has a valley portion recessed from one surface thereof. The cam piece is mounted to the pivot pin for holding the second bracket at any angle. The cam piece has a peak portion formed on one surface thereof and received in the valley portion of the second bracket at a closed position. The lifting assembly is adjustably assembled to the second bracket such that the lifting assembly is pivotally assembled with the first bracket.

The embodiment includes a hinge, a pivot shaft, a cam, and a cam follower. The pivot shaft includes an engaging portion bound by two curved surfaces and two non-rotatable surfaces. The cam is non-rotatably sleeved on the engaging portion of the pivot shaft and defines a noncircular hole and two cutouts. The noncircular hole is bound by two first contact surfaces and two second contact surfaces. The second contact surfaces are tangent to the curved surfaces of the engaging portion of the pivot shaft. The cam follower is rotatably sleeved on the engaging portion of the pivot shaft and resists the cam. The cam follower forms two peaks engaging with the cutouts in the cam.

A hinge assembly includes a pivot shaft, a first leaf, a fixing leaf, a restricting member, a deformable member, two limiting blocks, and a fastening member. The rotatable leaf is non-rotatably connected to the pivot shaft and the fixing leaf is rotatably connected to the pivot shaft. The restricting member and the deformable member are rotatably sleeved on the pivot shaft. The restricting member defines two positioning grooves. The deformable member includes a base plate and two protrusions extending substantially perpendicularly from the base plate. The limiting blocks are partially received in the positioning grooves and connected to the deformable member. When the rotatable leaf is rotated, the limiting blocks slide out of the positioning grooves to press the base plate of the deformable member such that the deformable member becomes elastically deformed. The fastening member is fixed on an end of the pivot shaft.

The follower is movably connected to the support body, so that the positioning pole is capable of engaging/disengaging in the engaging hole of the connecting member.
