A fixed cutting structure-composite cone drill bit includes a drill bit body, a fixed cutting structure, and at least one cone. The cone and the fixed cutting structure are disposed on the drill bit body. The cone is rotatably connected to the drill bit body by means of a bearing structure. The distance from the outermost tooth or back cone of the at least one cone to the front side surface of the fixed cutting structure La&#x2264;&#x3c0;R/3, and the distance from the outermost tooth or back cone of the at least one cone to the rear side surface of the fixed cutting structure Lb&#x2264;&#x3c0;R/3. In the composite drill bit, the distance from the cone to the front/rear side surface of the fixed cutting structure is short, the gap between the cone and the fixed cutting structure is small, transition between cutting structure is smooth.

Fixed cutting structure-composite cone drill bit

A rotating cutter single cone bit includes a bit body and a cone that is rotatably coupled to the bit body. Cutters are arranged on the cone. At least one cutter on the cone is a rotating cutter. The rotating cutter forms a rotational connection with the cone. The geometric center of the front cutting face of the rotating cutter or the front cutting face of the rotating cutter is offset from the rotating axis of the rotating cutter, and the geometric center of the rear cutting face or the rear cutting face of the rotating cutter is on the same side of the offset of the front cutting face. The front cutting face is closer to the rotating axis of the rotating cutter than the rear cutting face. The rotating cutter is rotatable about the rotating axis of the rotating cutter on the cone.

The cutters on the scraping-wheel break rocks by means of successive scraping, forming a spiral-like tracks on the bottomhole, thus achieving high rock-breaking efficiency, even wear, high cooling performance, and a longer service life for the cutters, bearings and the drill bit.

Scraping-wheel drill bit

A composite drill bit with a bit body configured at its upper extend for connection into a drillstring, comprising: a bit body (1) with at least one bit leg (3), at least one scraping-wheel (2) set with a cutter-row (4), and a set of cutters fixed thereon. The scraping-wheel (2) is mounted for rotation on the corresponding bit leg (3) with a large angular deflection &#x3b1; in the range of 20&#xb0;&#x2266;|&#x3b1;|&#x2266;90&#xb0;. The cutters on the scraping-wheel break rock by means of successive scraping, forming a cross-cutting area on the bottomhole accompanied by the cutters on the fixed cutting unit, thus achieving high rock-breaking efficiency, even wear, high cooling performance, and a longer service life for the cutters, bearings and the drill bit.
