The method includes determining the sensor data values at the working tool positions based on a time correlation of the values of the sensor data relative to time and the working tool positions relative to time. Tool control magnitude values relative to the working tool positions are determined based on the process data. The method further includes determining a magnitude differential, relative to the working tool positions, between the sensor data values and the tool control magnitude values. Scoring data is determined by applying a scoring function to the magnitude differential. The magnitude differential data is compressed based at least in part on the scoring data. The method further includes decompressing the magnitude differential data and determining the sensor data values versus the working tool positions based on the magnitude differential data.

Systems and methods for receiving sensor data for an operating additive manufacturing machine and adaptively compressing the sensor data based on process data which controls the operation of the machine

A system for polishing a surface of a component includes a motorized apparatus including a body, a drive system coupled to the body, and an arm including a proximal end coupled to the body and a distal end opposite the proximal end. The motorized apparatus further includes a tool coupled to the distal end of the arm. The tool is configured to polish the surface of the component. The motorized apparatus also includes an actuator coupled to the arm. The system also includes a controller configured to position the tool relative to the component by positioning at least one of the body and the arm relative to the component to reach the target area on the component while maintaining a distance between the tool and the body that is less than a threshold distance. The threshold distance is less than a full reach of the arm and is determined to prevent vibrations of the tool and the arm from exceeding a predefined level.

Systems and methods for polishing component surfaces using polishing tool mounted on motorized apparatus

A method of robot autonomous navigation includes capturing an image of the environment, segmenting the captured image to identify one or more foreground objects and one or more background objects, determining a match between one or more of the foreground objects to one or more predefined image files, estimating an object pose for the one or more foreground objects by implementing an iterative estimation loop, determining a robot pose estimate by applying a robot-centric environmental model to the object pose estimate by implementing an iterative refinement loop, associating semantic labels to the matched foreground object, compiling a semantic map containing the semantic labels and segmented object image pose, and providing localization information to the robot based on the semantic map and the robot pose estimate. A system and a non-transitory computer-readable medium are also disclosed.

The present invention provides a method and system for manufacturing cement wherein ground particles of cement and calcium sulfate are subjected to infrared sensors, laser sensors, or both, so that emanated, irradiated, transmitted, and/or absorbed energy having wavelengths principally within the range of 700 nanometers to 1 millimeter can be monitored and compared to stored data previously obtained from ground cement and sulfate particles and preferably correlated with stored strength, calorimetric, or other data values, such that adjustments can be made to the mill processing conditions, such as the form or amounts of calcium sulfate (e.g., gypsum, plaster, anhydride), or cement additive levels. The strength and other properties of cement can be thus adjusted, and its quality can be more uniform.

The platform further includes a microprocessor configured to receive and analyze sensor data from the one or more sensors and provide pre-processed data representative of a determination of a condition of the riser joint. A memory module is provided including one or more software modules executable by the microprocessor and configured to provide data storage. The platform further includes an acoustic modem configured to receive the pre-processed data, communicate the condition to a topside acoustic transceiver in real-time and provide remote command configuration in response to the condition. An included power module provides power to the platform components.
