A computer enclosure includes a cage ( ) and a drive bracket ( ). The cage has two side panels ( ), and each side panel forms a first slideway ( ) and an aligned second slideway ( ). Each first slideway includes a blocking portion ( ). The drive bracket has two side walls ( ). Each side wall attachingly receives a first sliding member ( ), and forms a second sliding member ( ). A slot ( ) is defined in each first sliding member, thereby forming an elastic portion. A handle ( ) is formed at a front end of the elastic portion, and a barb ( ) protrudes from a top face of the elastic portion. In assembly, the drive bracket is pushed into the cage, with the second and first sliding members sliding along the second and first slideways. The barbs engage with the blocking portions, thus preventing the drive bracket from accidentally detaching from the cage.

Computer enclosure incorporating slidable drive bracket

A front panel assembly includes a front panel ( ), a lining panel ( ) and a cover ( ). An opening ( ) is defined in the front panel. A pair of parallel first arcuate guideways ( ) is formed on an internal surface of the front panel at upper and lower extremities of the opening. The lining panel is attached to the front panel, includes a central vertical beam ( ), and defines a recess ( ). A pair of parallel second arcuate guideways ( ) is formed at upper and lower extremities of the recess. A plurality of ports or other components is installed in the lining panel at the recess. The cover is received in the recess, and is slidable along the first and second guideways. The cover is slid toward the beam and snappingly engaging therewith, thus protecting the ports or other components in the recess from contamination or accidental damage.

Front panel assembly for computer enclosure

A computer enclosure includes a hood ( ), a chassis ( ) with a frame ( ) mounted therein, and a fastener ( ) securing the hood on the chassis. The hood has aligned hooks ( ). The frame defines aligned first slits ( ). The fastener includes a sliding plate ( ) slidably attached on the frame, a pivot plate ( ) pivotably attached on the frame, a handle ( ) pivotably attached to the hood, and a spring ( ). The sliding plate defines aligned second slits ( ), and a transverse slot ( ) movably receiving a protrusion ( ) of the pivot plate therein. The hooks are extended through the first and second slits to snappingly engage with the sliding plate in the second slits. When the handle is pressed down, it rotates the pivot plate, and the protrusion of the pivot plate pushes the sliding plate to a position where the hood is easily removed.

Computer enclosure with fastener

A connector covering assembly includes a cover ( ), and a base ( ) slidably supporting the cover thereon. The cover includes first and second sliding members ( ), and a raised shield ( ) having a handle ( ) thereon. A half portion of the base defines a plurality of openings ( ) for receipt of connectors therethrough. An opposite half portion of the base forms a pair of symmetrical elastic members ( ). Longitudinal, slightly raised edges of the base generally at opposite sides of the openings and of the elastic members respectively define a first slideway ( ) and a second slideway ( ). The covering assembly is mounted to the back of a bezel ( ) of a computer, with the cover slidably disposed between the base and the bezel.

Connector covering assembly

A computer enclosure includes a rear panel, a fixing bracket attached to the rear panel, and a bridge mounted to the fixing bracket. The rear panel defines an opening therein. The fixing bracket includes first and second side walls opposite each other to define a receiving space therebetween in communication with the opening in the rear panel adapted for receiving an electronic device therein. The bridge includes first and second ends respectively connected to the first and second side walls of the fixing bracket for positioning and fastening the electronic device.

Computer enclosure for mounting an electronic device

A computer enclosure includes a front panel, a receiving cage mounted to the front panel and a drive bracket received and retained in the receiving cage. The drive bracket has a base, a pair of side walls extending from opposite edges of the base and a front wall extending between the side walls. A pair of ledges is formed between the side walls of the drive bracket for receiving a data storage device therebetween. The drive bracket allows a data storage device of a small size to be received and retained in the receiving cage.

Computer enclosure

A movable frame is mounted in a computer enclosure for retaining a computer component, such as a power supply, in the computer enclosure. The frame includes a tray for supporting the power supply thereon and an elongate arm extending from the tray. A first end of the arm is pivotally attached to the computer enclosure by a vertically extending pivot pin whereby the frame is horizontally movable between a retracted position and an extended position for selectively positioning the power supply out of the computer enclosure. Openings may be defined on a second end of the arm for engaging with projections formed on the computer enclosure for securing the second end of the arm to the computer enclosure.
