A fan duct assembly includes a fan duct (), a panel (), and a locking plate (). One end of the fan duct defines a rectangular opening () with a peripheral flange (). A pair of ribs () is formed on one side of the flange. A pair of L-shaped catches () is stamped from the panel. The catches abut against the ribs, to retain the side of the flange. The locking plate is attached to the panel opposite to the catches. The locking plate includes a base () and a vertical portion () extending from the base. An L-shaped resilient tab () is inclinedly stamped from the locking plate, to resiliently abut against the side of the fan duct and the flange. A pair of resilient feet () extends from opposite sides of the base, each foot having a free end portion resiliently abutting against the flange.

Fan duct assembly

A holder ( ) for securing a fan ( ) to a panel ( ) of a computer enclosure includes a base ( ) for supporting the fan thereon, and a tapered hood-shaped body ( ) extending from the base. The body includes a pair of side walls ( ), and top and bottom walls ( ) respectively connecting between the side walls. A pair of latches ( ) extends outwardly from an edge of the top wall that is distal from the base. A pair of retaining slots ( ) is respectively defined in the side walls. An actuator ( ) extends outwardly from one of the side walls, and includes a handle ( ) and a protrusion ( ). The panel defines a pair of spaced cutouts ( ) engagingly receiving the latches of the holder, a slit ( ) snappingly receiving the protrusion of the holder, and a pair of hooks ( ) engaging in the slots of the holder.

Fan holder

A drive bracket structure includes first and second drive brackets ( ), a connect panel ( ), and a securing bar ( ). The first drive bracket includes a bottom plate ( ) having a plurality of aligned pairs of catches ( ), and a side plate ( ) defining a slot ( ). First and second slideways ( ) are defined in the bottom plate. The first slideway includes two straight portions. The second slideway includes two straight portions and an intermediate arcuate portion. The connect panel is secured to the second drive bracket. A pair of screws ( ) fastened on the connect panel is slidingly received in the respective first and second slideways. The combined connect panel and second drive bracket is slidingly moved until the second drive bracket is located beneath the first drive bracket. The securing bar is extended through the slot of the first drive bracket and engaged with the catches.

Drive bracket structure

A computer enclosure includes a cage ( ) defining nicks ( ) on opposite sides thereof, a first door ( ), a second door ( ), and a latch ( ). The first door includes a fixing board ( ) having pegs ( ) and hooks ( ). The hooks engage with the nicks. The second door is similar to the first door. The latch includes a shaft ( ) defining first notches ( ) engagingly and releasably receiving the pegs of the first door, a body ( ) defining second notches ( ) engagingly and releasably receiving pegs of the second door, and a lock ( ). When the lock is rotated from a locked position to a release position, the shaft and the body are moved inwardly to disengage from the pegs. The fixing boards are then moved downwardly to disengage the hooks away from the nicks, thereby disengaging the first and second doors from the cage.

Computer enclosure incorporating latch

A drive bracket fastening structure includes first and second drive brackets ( ) and a connect panel ( ). The first drive bracket includes a bottom plate ( ). A pair of arcuate first slide rails ( ) depends from the bottom plate. A first flange ( ) depends from the bottom plate near a side thereof. A pair of through holes ( ) is defined in the first flange. The connect panel is secured to the second drive bracket. The connect panel upwardly forms a pair of arcuate second slide rails ( ). A second flange ( ) extends upwardly from a side edge of the connect panel. A pair of screw holes is defined in the second flange. The second slide rails are slidably engaged with the first slide rails. The screw holes are aligned with the through holes for insertion of fasteners therein. The second drive bracket is thereby fastened to the first drive bracket.

Drive bracket fastening structure

A computer enclosure includes a rear panel ( ) and a fastener ( ) detachably and rotatably mounted to the rear panel. The rear panel defines a plurality of parallel slots ( ) for receiving expansion cards ( ). A pair of limbs ( ) is formed on the rear panel for locking the fastener in place. The rear panel forms semi-circular pivots ( ) to which the fastener is pivotally attached. The fastener is thus rotatably movable between a first position and a second position during assembly. When located at the first position, the fastener does not engage with the covers, thereby allowing the expansion card covers to be attached to or detached from the rear panel. When located at the second position, the fastener is secured to the rear panel by the limbs, and engages with the covers.

Drive bracket

An enclosure includes a front panel ( ), a pivotable bezel ( ) and a pair of female hinges ( ). A pair of male hinges ( ) extends from one side of an inner surface of the bezel. Each male hinge includes a flange ( ) and a pivot column ( ). Each female hinge includes a rear wall ( ) attachable to the front panel, and an engaging portion ( ) extending perpendicularly from the rear wall. The engaging portion defines a groove ( ), and a notch ( ) spaced from the groove. The groove receives the flange of the corresponding male hinge. A recess ( ) is defined at the notch, for rotatably receiving the pivot column of the corresponding male hinge. The bezel further forms a catch ( ), for engaging with a slot ( ) of the front panel. The bezel is thereby easily and securely attached to the front panel.
