The present invention provides a surgical robot system which includes a workstation, a robotic arm, a scanning module, a guiding module and the like. Fast registration may be completed by means of the scanning module. The system improves the speed and accuracy of registration and shortens the period of the operation.

A trust rule between a first service and a second service in a plurality of services deployed in a distributed system is received; the trust rule defines whether the first service is allowed to access the second service. A trust tree is obtained for the distributed system, and the trust tree comprises a plurality of certificates for accessing the plurality of services. A first group of certificates is selected for the first service based on the trust rule and the trust tree, and the first group of certificates enables the first service to access the second service.

A method, system, and computer program product for detecting out-of-date runbooks are disclosed. The method may include generating a defect corresponding to an alert on a running workload system. The method may further include, in response to generating the defect in the running workload system, automatically obtaining an identification of a runbook based on information of the alert, automatically accessing the runbook based on the identification of the runbook, the runbook including instructions for fixing the defect, automatically parsing the instructions to obtain executable operations, and automatically executing the executable operations on the running workload system. The method may further include, in response to detecting that the alert is not solved on the running workload system after a predefined period, automatically determining that the runbook is out-of-date, and automatically generating a runbook out-of-date signal.

Data analytics is performed on a distributed document storage database by receiving a request for initiating a data analytics job; collecting statistics from the database in response to the request; using the statistics to estimate a first cost for merging an incremental data update for the job into a first resilient distributed dataset; using the statistics to estimate a second cost for newly creating a second resilient distributed dataset for the job; when the first cost is less than the second cost, reading data updates from the database and merging the data updates into the first resilient distributed dataset; and when the first cost is not less than the second cost, newly creating the second resilient distributed dataset by reading all documents from the database.

A method and computer-readable memory device that enable processing of a first memory image comprising a plurality of compressed sub-blocks and uncompressed sub-blocks to produce a second memory image comprising contents of the first memory image arranged as a plurality of memory blocks. The memory blocks of the second memory image may be independently decompressible, to enable more efficient updating of an electronic device.

Binary level update of compressed read-only file systems

A fault-tolerant approach for updating a compressed read-only file system in embedded devices using a two-step approach. In the first phase an update package creates an intermediate memory image where the data blocks are independently compressed so that, if needed, the data therein can be decompressed and read without access to any other surrounding data blocks. Then in the second phase the intermediate memory image is decompressed in a buffer so that it can be reimaged into its final form and order before being recompressed and written back to non-volatile memory over-writing the intermediate memory image.
