A pixel circuit includes a first capacitor, an input unit, a driving unit, a first compensation unit, an organic light-emitting diode, a switch unit, a second compensation unit and a reset unit. The input unit is electrically connected to the first capacitor and the second compensation unit. The second compensation unit is electrically connected to the organic light-emitting diode. The first compensation unit is electrically connected to the first capacitor, the driving unit, the switch unit and the reset unit. The driving unit is electrically connected to the switch unit and the reset unit. The switch unit is electrically connected to the organic light-emitting diode. The pixel circuit is configured to generate a corresponding driving current according to a turn-on voltage of the organic light-emitting diode. A driving method of a pixel circuit is also provided.

Pixel circuit and driving method thereof

A display apparatus includes a display unit, a source driver, a gate driver and a compensation unit. The display unit includes at least a pixel unit. Each pixel unit includes a first transistor, a second transistor, a first capacitor, a second capacitor and an organic light emitting diode. When the pixel unit is operated in a display mode, the pixel unit outputs a sensing voltage including a first parameter having characteristics of the second transistor and a second parameter having characteristics of the organic light emitting diode. The source driver receives a compensation data and accordingly adjusts the next display data. The compensation unit is disposed between the second capacitor and the source driver and electrically coupled between the second end of the second capacitor and the source driver. The compensation unit receives the sensing voltage and outputs the compensation data according to the received sensing voltage.

Display apparatus and operation method thereof

A pixel driving circuit includes a light emitting diode (LED), a data writing unit, two transistors and two compensation units. The gate of the first transistor is coupled to the data writing unit for determining the current flow of the LED. The first compensation unit is coupled to the first transistor for providing a current path from the gate of the first transistor to a first voltage source and a current path from the gate of the first transistor to a second voltage source. The second compensation unit includes a first capacitor coupled to the gate of the first transistor for voltage coupling and providing a differential voltage that equals to the OLED to the gate of the first transistor. The second transistor is coupled between the first voltage source and a second voltage source for enabling or disabling the current flow between the first and second voltage sources.

OLED pixel driving circuit with compensation circuitry for uniform brightness

A light emitting diode module includes a light emitting unit and a light emitting diode circuit. The light emitting diode circuit includes four transistors and a storage capacitor. A first transistor includes a first end for receiving a data signal, and a control end. The storage capacitor has a first end coupled to a second end of the first transistor. A second transistor has a first end coupled to a first voltage source, and a control end. A third transistor has a first end coupled to a second end of the second transistor, and a control end coupled to a second end of the storage capacitor. A fourth transistor has a first end coupled to the second end of the storage capacitor, a control end, and a second end coupled to the second end of the second transistor.

Light emitting diode module

A shift register circuit includes a first transistor, a capacitor, a pull-up control circuit, a first pull-down circuit, a pull-down control circuit, a second pull-down circuit and a compensation circuit. The compensation circuit further includes a second transistor, a third transistor, a fourth transistor, a fifth transistor and a sixth transistor. The second transistor, the third transistor, the fourth transistor, and the fifth transistor are corporately used to output a compensation pulse; and the sixth transistor is used to output the compensation pulse to a gate terminal of the first transistor thereby compensating a control signal.

Shift register circuit

A gate driver has a plurality of shift registers. Each of the shift registers has at least three input terminals, two signal input terminals, a pull-up circuit, a driving circuit, a stability pull-down control circuit, and a stability pull-down circuit. The three input terminals of each shift register receive three different clock signals. Accordingly, the driving circuit and the stability pull-down control circuit of each shift register are controlled according to the three clock signals, such that a glitch causing by the coupling effect of the parasitic capacitor of the driving circuit is avoided and the stability of the gate driver is improved.

Gate driver and shift register

A pixel driver includes an input unit, a power-switching unit, a voltage-dividing unit, a pixel-driving unit and a shorting unit. The input unit outputs a data voltage according to a first scan signal and a data signal. The power-switching unit outputs a first power voltage according to a first power voltage and a power-controlling signal. The voltage-dividing unit adjusts a control voltage according to a second scan signal. The pixel-driving unit includes a control terminal, a first terminal and a second terminal. The pixel-driving unit provides a driving current to an LED according to the voltage difference between the control terminal and the second terminal. The shorting unit connects the control terminal to the first terminal according to the first scan signal.

Pixel driver

A shift register circuit has a plurality of shift registers. Each of the shift registers has at least four input terminals, a signal input terminal, an output terminal, a pull-up circuit, a driving circuit, a stability driving circuit, and a pull-down circuit. The signal input terminal receives an input signal, and the pull-up circuit is configured to pull up a voltage level of a node of the shift register. The driving circuit outputs a gate driving signal according to the voltage level of the node. The pull-down circuit is configured to pull down the voltage level of the node. The stability driving circuit can pull down the voltage of the output terminal according to the voltages of the four input terminals, and, thus, can reduce the response time of the shift register circuit and increase the operation region of the shift register circuit.

Shift register circuit and shift register

An Nth shift register includes a pull up unit, a driving unit, a first pull down unit, a second pull down unit, and a third pull down unit. The pull up unit is used for providing a first pull up signal according to a first clock signal, a second clock signal, and a starting pulse. The driving unit is used for providing a driving signal according to the first pull up signal and providing a gate signal according to the first clock signal and the driving signal. The first pull down unit is used for pulling down the first pull up signal according to the first clock signal. The second pull down unit is used for pulling down the driving signal according to a second pull up signal. The third pull down unit is used for pulling down the gate signal according to the second clock signal.
