A process for improving the searchability of incident-specific social media content posted via communication devices. In operation, an electronic computing device obtains incident information identifying an incident location and time of occurrence of the incident. The electronic computing device identifies a communication device located within a predetermined geographical area relative to the incident location during the time of occurrence of the incident. The electronic computing device then generates a concatenated string as a function of incident identifier associated with the incident and device identifier associated with the communication device and transmits an electronic message including the concatenated string to the communication device. The electronic message includes a link to enable the concatenated string to be attached to social media posts including incident-specific social media content posted via the communication device on social media networks.

Searchability of incident-specific social media content

A process of identifying suspicious object movements in an incident location. An electronic computing device obtains incident information identifying a time of occurrence and a location of an incident. The electronic computing device identifies internet-of-things (IoT) devices deployed in the incident location and accesses received signal strength indication (RSSI) information associated with a selected IoT device. The RSSI information includes historical RSSI values that were captured at the IoT device during the time of occurrence of the incident. The electronic computing device generates a suspicious object movement pattern corresponding to the at least one IoT device based on variations within the historical RSSI values that were captured at the at least one IoT device during the first time period. A display or audio output device provides a corresponding visual or audio output indicating the suspicious object movement pattern corresponding to the IoT device.

Method and device for identifying suspicious object movements based on historical received signal strength indication information associated with internet-of-things devices

Methods and systems of positioning a drone including a camera. One method includes generating, from a first image capture position of the drone, a first image or video having a first field of view. The method further includes determining a plurality of regions of interest, each of the plurality of regions of interest located within a predetermined area and having an associated priority. The method further includes determining a second image capture position different from the first image capture position for the drone as a function of the associated priority and a viewing distance of the camera. The method further includes generating a command for the drone to move to the second image capture position. The method further includes moving the drone based on the command. The method further includes generating, from the second image capture position, a second image or video having a second field of view.

Methods and systems for positioning a camera in an incident area

A very-low intermediate frequency (VLIF) receiver and a method of controlling a VLIF receiver. The method comprises receiving a first signal, the first signal including a first adjacent channel interferer, and detecting first interference from the first adjacent channel interferer. The method further comprises, subsequent to receiving the first signal, receiving a second signal, the second signal including a second adjacent channel interferer, and detecting second interference from the second adjacent channel interferer. Furthermore, subsequent to detecting the second interference, the VLIF receiver is configured to avoid the first interference while receiving a third signal.
