An optical lens includes a first curved surface and a second curved surface. The first curved surface is for receiving a light ray, and includes a first curve, a second curve, a first symmetrical curve and a second symmetrical curve disposed on a first plane, and a third curve and a fourth curve disposed on a third plane. The second curved surface is opposite to the first curved surface, and includes a fifth curve, a sixth curve, a fifth symmetrical curve and a sixth symmetrical curve disposed on the first plane, and a seventh curve and an eighth curve disposed on the third plane. The first plane is perpendicular to the third plane, and the curvatures of all the curves are controlled by a weight factor, so that the light ray is emitted onto a preset area through the optical lens.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) light source device is provided, including a lower substrate, a plurality of OLED modules disposed on the lower substrate and arranged in a matrix, a bus circuit surrounding the OLED modules to form a mesh structure and connecting the OLED modules in parallel, and an upper substrate disposed on the OLED modules and the bus circuit. The bus circuit connects the OLED modules in parallel. Therefore, the OLED light source device can be arbitrarily cut into different shapes, and its service life and light emitting performance are not affected by the cutting.

A third color light component decoupling control unit decouples the second undecoupled color light component into a second decoupled color light component. A constant power control apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided. The constant power control apparatus outputs output power to a load element. The constant power control apparatus includes a compensation and modification device, a constant power control device, and a power generation circuit. The compensation and modification device receives an expected output power voltage and a voltage feedback signal relating to the output power. The compensation and modification device transforms the expected output power voltage into a current reference value, and modifies the current reference value to generate a modified current reference value according to the voltage feedback signal. The constant power control device receives the modified current reference value and a current feedback signal relating to the output power, and generates a control signal for use in power modulation. The power generation circuit receives the control signal and outputs the output power.

Constant power control apparatus and control method thereof

An light emitting diode (LED) control, a plurality of duty cycle signals corresponding to a plurality of LEDs are stored in a dual-port memory by memory mapping. By sampling, the stored duty cycle signals are outputted to generate a plurality of parallel single-bit data each having one single bit. After the single-bit data are converted by a data transmission module, each bit of the single-bit data is serially outputted to a drive module to drive the LEDs. Thus, the ON duty cycles of the LEDs are modulated by pulse width modulation (PWM), light emitted from the LEDs are mixed in time-domain, and the brightness of the LEDs can be controlled.

A method of controlling a ballast for a high intensity discharge (HID) lamp and related system. The method includes setting initial operating parameters of the ballast to turn on the HID lamp, generating starting transient electric characteristic values of the HID lamp by measuring actual electric parameters at a predetermined time during a transient process after the HID lamp is turned on, searching stored data for a rated power corresponding to the starting transient electric characteristic value range of the HID lamp after determining that the starting transient electric characteristic value is within stored starting transient electric characteristic value ranges of the HID lamp, and searching the stored data for a corresponding ballast operating parameter, to allow the HID lamp to operate in the corresponding rated power, and realize that a single ballast can be adapted to and control the HID lamps to operable in their respective specific rated power.

A lantern structure comprising a base, at least one luminous body, at least one light pipe and a lantern cover, wherein the light source of the luminous body is the LED. The luminous body is disposed on a surface of the base, and the base and the luminous body are enclosed under the lantern cover. The light pipe connects the luminous body to the lantern cover in order to guide the light radiated from the luminous body to a desired irradiating area.

A flat high-voltage impulse transformer is proposed, which can be used in conjunction with a high-intensity discharge (HID) lamp to provide a high-magnitude pulsed voltage to ignite the HID lamp. The proposed transformer structure is characterized by the use of an elongated magnetic core that is made of a magnetic material having a substantially square hysteresis loop and whose saturated flux density is at least two times greater than ferrite, and the primary winding is arranged at the middle section of the elongated magnetic core while the secondary winding is arranged at opposite sides of the primary winding on the elongated magnetic core. This feature allows the transformer of the invention to provide a better voltage transforming effect, and also allows the transformer of the invention to be made more flatted in profile to provide a compact size.
