A data driven management device of a small cell network is provided, wherein the device includes a data receiver, a data processor and a data configurator. The data receiver receives parameters configured and managed from each of small cells. The data processor is configured to pre-process the received parameters to remove the unnecessary parameters and to calculate at least one performance result based on the pre-processed parameters. The data processor is further configured to establish a model based on at least one of the pre-processed parameters. The data processor determines the optimized parameter based on the best performance result of the model to determine a decision result. The data configurator is connected to the data processor and configures and manages the small cells based on the decision result.

Data driven management method and device of small cell network

A method for retransmitting packet, a data server using the same and a packet retransmitting system are provided. The packet retransmitting system includes a control server, a network switch, a plurality of upper nodes, and the data server. Terminal nodes download data packets provided by the data server through the upper nodes, respectively. The data server receives missing packet reports in which the data packets correspond to the terminal nodes via the network switch, obtains network topology information related to the terminal nodes from the control server, encodes missing packets in the data packets according to the missing packet reports and the network topology information, and transmits encoded packets encoded from the missing packets to the terminal nodes via the network switch and each of the upper nodes.

Method for retransmitting packet, data server using the same, and packet retransmitting system

Methods for grouping MTC devices in MTC networks are proposed. One of the proposed methods includes grouping femto MTC devices into femto groups and grouping macro MTC devices into macro groups, where each of the assigned groups has its granted interval for delivering MTC messages. In the proposed method, it may detect network overload of each group or unsuccessful access request of each device, and statistically count consecutively accumulated number of occurrence of the CN overload of each group or accumulated number of occurrence of unsuccessful access request retries of each device. The group numbers, cycle time, and access probability of the macro groups or the femto groups may be adjusted according to the aforementioned accumulated numbers. In addition, the macro groups or the femto groups are merged or split according to determination based on the statistical counts.

Method for grouping MTC devices in MTC networks and communication method

A location-based service system and method, which allows a location-based service server connected with a communication device and a cloud data server to perform registration authorization procedures and service authorization procedures using an international mobile subscriber identity of the communication device that cannot be easily modified or forged in the registration and service modes, so that a user may obtain a specific location-based service result via the communication device, and this distributed authentication technique reduces the risk of data theft while increasing the flexibility and convenience in obtaining services.

Location-based service system and serving method

An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding device and manufacturing method thereof are provided. The EMI shielding device includes at least one ferrite material outer layer, a first and a second electrodes within the ferrite material outer layer, and a positive temperature coefficient resistor (PTCR) core layer sandwiched between the first and the second electrodes in the ferrite material outer layer. The first and the second electrodes extend to two ends of the ferrite material outer layer respectively.

EMI shielding device and manufacturing method thereof

A FFR (fractional frequency reuse)-based network MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) transmission architecture in a cellular system that employs cell sectoring using directional antennas. Each cell is sectorized into three outer sectors using three directional antennas which transmit in three different directions using three different frequency subbands. The cell sectors are arranged based on a frequency partition scheme so that three sectors in three neighboring cells form a coordinated group for network MIMO transmission. A regular and a rearranged frequency partition are described. Further, a practical implementation of SON (self organizing network)-based three-cell FFR-based network MIMO for a wireless OFDM system is described. In this implementation, a server connected to multiple base stations (BSs) defines multiple coordinated groups for coordinated MIMO transmission, and the BSs within each coordinated group negotiate a common radio resource region (a composite time-frequency region), and selects a serving mobile station to participate in the coordinated MIMO transmission.

Method and apparatus for coordinated MIMO signal transmission among multiple cells in wireless OFDM systems

The present invention is direct to the resource allocation method for MU-MIMO-OFDM system and the apparatus thereof. The MU-MIMO-OFDM system has a plurality of users and a plurality of sub-channels. The sub-channels are assigned to the users according to the capacity ratio constraints and a scheduling rule, and then the power of the user is determined according to the limit power of the MU-MIMO-OFDM system. Wherein the values of power of the sub-channels assigned to the user are the same, the scheduling rule may be Max-Min or Max Sum-Rate rule, and the allocation of the sub-channels may be user-oriented or sub-channel oriented.

Resource allocation method for multi-users multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system and apparaus thereof

A cross-layer rate adaptation mechanism for wireless local area network (WLAN) can obtain the channel state by calculating the E/Nratio of ACK frame transmitted from the receiver side. The mechanism determines the transmission rate of the next frame by referring to a predefined reduced mode table. When receiving an ACK frame fails, the mechanism can automatically lower the transmitting rate of the next transmission. Therefore, the method can reduce the damage to the system when ACK frame failure happens.

Cross-layer rate adaptation mechanism for WLAN

A method for data transmission rate adaptation for Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA). The method includes A) providing a plurality of parameters, including: a maximum allowable transmission power, a minimum allowable transmission power, an increasing parameter and a decreasing parameter; B) receiving a signal; C) collecting a power excess parameter and a power deficient parameter in accordance to a transmission power control command controlling the signal's transmission power; D) determining whether the power deficient parameter is larger than the increasing parameter or not? If yes, increase the throughput, and then goes to step G, otherwise, goes to step E; E) determining whether the power excess parameter is larger than the decreasing parameter or not? If yes, reduce the throughput, and then goes to step G, otherwise, goes to step F; F) maintaining the throughput, goes to step G; G) end.
