A light-emitting device includes a substrate, a plurality of bumps over the substrate; and a plurality of light-emitting units separated by the bumps. Each of the light-emitting units includes a first electrode on the substrate, an organic layer on the first electrode, and a second electrode on the organic layer. The light-emitting units comprise a first light-emitting unit and a second light-emitting unit, and the first light-emitting unit further includes an intermediate layer between the organic layer and the second electrode. The organic layer of the first light-emitting unit includes a first material, the second electrodes of the first light-emitting unit and the second light-emitting unit include an electrode material, and the intermediate layer of the first light-emitting unit includes the first material and the electrode material.

Light-emitting device

A method of manufacturing an electroluminescent device includes the following steps. A substrate including a first sub-pixel region and a second sub-pixel region is provided. A first light-emitting layer is formed over the substrate through a shadow mask to cover the first sub-pixel region and at least a portion of the second sub-pixel region. A sacrificial layer is formed over the substrate, wherein the sacrificial layer includes an opening exposing a portion of the first light-emitting layer that is over the second sub-pixel region. The portion of the first light-emitting layer that is over the second sub-pixel region is removed. A second light-emitting layer is formed over the sacrificial layer and on the second sub-pixel region through the opening of the sacrificial layer. The sacrificial layer is removed simultaneously with a portion of the second light-emitting layer that is over the sacrificial layer.

Method for manufacturing electroluminescent device

A display panel includes a display device, a light-guiding structure and an anti-reflection structure. The light-guiding structure is disposed between the pixels to guide light beams emitted from the pixels toward a display surface. The anti-reflection structure is over the pixels of the display device, wherein the anti-reflection structure includes a photo-sensitive alignment layer, a liquid crystal circular polarizer and a linear polarizer. The photo-sensitive alignment layer is over the optical absorbing layer, wherein the photo-sensitive alignment layer is sensitive to and curable by the light within the wavelength range. The liquid crystal circular polarizer is over the photo-sensitive alignment layer, wherein the liquid crystal circular polarizer includes a plurality of liquid crystal molecules aligned by the photo-sensitive alignment layer. The linear polarizer is over the liquid crystal circular polarizer.

Display panel

A light emitting device includes a substrate and a light emitting unit over the substrate. The light emitting unit includes a first electrode, an organic emissive layer over the first electrode, a first electron transportation layer over the organic emissive layer, and a metal-containing layer over the first transportation layer. An end of the first electron transportation layer meets the organic emissive layer and the metal-containing layer at a first meeting point, the organic emissive layer has an end which is close to the first meeting point meets the metal-containing layer at a second meeting point, the second meeting point is spaced apart from the first meeting point and away from the first electron transportation layer. Further, at least one of the first electron transportation layer and the metal-containing layer includes transitional metal or alkali metal.

Light emitting device

A light emitting device includes a substrate and a light emitting layer over the substrate, the light emitting layer. The light emitting layer has a light emitting pixel array including a plurality of light emitting pixels and a spacer. The spacer is configured to separating the plurality of light emitting pixels. Each light emitting pixel has a light emitting material and an electrode between the light emitting material and the substrate. The spacer has a bump having a curved surface extruding away from the substrate, and the bump covers a peripheral region of the electrode.

Light emitting device with different light emitting material overlapping width

A light emitting device includes a window over a light emitting pixel. A light reflection performance of the light emitting pixel to an incoming ambient light is configured by the window to be appeared to have at least two regions, wherein one region of the at least two regions has a smaller transmittance to the incoming ambient light than the other.

A method of manufacturing a light emitting device includes providing a substrate, forming a plurality of photosensitive bumps over the substrate, forming a photosensitive layer over the plurality of photosensitive bumps, forming a buffer layer between the photosensitive layer and the plurality of photosensitive bumps, patterning the photosensitive layer to form a recess through the photosensitive layer to expose a surface, disposing an organic emissive layer on the surface, forming a metal containing layer over the organic emissive layer, and removing the patterned photosensitive layer.

Light emitting device manufacturing method and apparatus thereof

A method of manufacturing a light emitting device includes providing a substrate and forming a plurality of photosensitive bumps over the substrate. The method also includes forming a photosensitive layer over the plurality of photosensitive bumps and patterning the photosensitive layer to form a recess through the photosensitive layer to expose a surface. The method also includes disposing an organic emissive layer on the surface, and removing the patterned photosensitive layer.
