Embodiments described herein can reduce a burden associated with analyzing EGM segments obtained from an IMD that monitors for arrhythmic episodes. Respective EGM data and respective classification data is obtained for each arrhythmic episode detected by the IMD during a period of time. A representative R-R interval or HR for each of the arrhythmic episodes is also obtained, wherein a manner for determining the representative R-R interval or HR depends on the type of the arrhythmic episode, such that for at least two different types of arrhythmic episodes the manners differ. One or more arrhythmic episodes is/are selected for which corresponding EGM segments are to be displayed for each type of arrhythmic episode, wherein the selecting is performed based on the representative R-R intervals or HRs that are determined for the plurality of arrhythmic episodes. Additional and alternative embodiments are also described herein.

Methods and systems for arrhythmia episode prioritization and improving arrhythmia detection and classification to reduce clinical review burden

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for applying anti-tachycardia pacing (ATP) using subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (SICDs). An SICD implantable in a subject includes a case including a controller, and at least one conductive lead extending from the case. The at least one conductive lead includes a plurality of coil electrodes, wherein the SICD is configured, via the controller, to apply anti-tachycardia pacing (ATP) to the subject using the at least one conductive lead.

Systems and methods for applying anti-tachycardia pacing using subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillators

Described herein are small, disposable partially-encapsulated sensing chips for detecting an analyte level from a fluid sample (e.g., a blood sample) having an edge of the integrated sensing chip exposed to directly expose a plurality of excitation and a collection waveguides, as well as optical readers and methods of operating them. A fluid sample maybe applied to a sensing surface of the sensing chip in the housing so that an analyte level can be optically detected. Also described are methods of sensing an analyte using these devices and systems including an optical detector.
