Disclosed are microcapsule compositions comprising a microcapsule dispersed in an aqueous phase. The microcapsule has a microcapsule core and a microcapsule wall. The microcapsule core contains an active material. The microcapsule wall encapsulates the microcapsule core and is formed of a polymeric network having a protein moiety, a multi-functional electrophile moiety, and a third moiety derived from a chaotropic agent, a multi-functional nucleophile, or a combination thereof. Also disclosed are preparation method and consumer products containing the microcapsule composition.

Microcapsules prepared from proteins

A hybrid encapsulate formulation obtained by mixing a starch/fragrance emulsion with a core-shell capsule suspension is provided as is a method of using the formulation in a personal care product, a beauty care product, a fabric care product, a home care product, a personal hygiene product, an oral care product and a method for releasing an encapsulated fragrance by moisture, shear, or a combination thereof.

Hybrid fragrance encapsulate formulation and method for using the same

Disclosed are microcapsule compositions having a microcapsule that contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule shell encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule has a particle size of 1 micron to 100 microns in diameter. The microcapsule core contains an active material. The microcapsule shell is formed of at least three moieties, in which a first moiety is derived from a polygalactomannan, a second moiety is derived from a polyisocyanate, and a third moiety is derived from a multi-functional aldehyde or a tannic acid.

Guar gum microcapsules

Polyurea capsule compositions. A subset of these compositions contain a plurality of capsules and a capsule formation aid, in which each of the capsules contains a polyurea wall and an oil core; the polyurea wall is formed of a reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a cross-linking agent in the presence of the capsule formation aid; and the oil core contains an active material. The polyisocyante, cross-linking agent, and capsule formation aids are described herein. Also disclosed are methods of preparing polyurea capsule compositions, as well as consumer products containing one of these compositions.

Disclosed is a microcapsule containing: (i) a microcapsule core having an active material, and (ii) a microcapsule wall formed of a first polymer and second polymer. The first polymer is a sol-gel polymer. The second polymer is gum arabic, purity gum ultra, gelatin, chitosan, xanthan gum, plant gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl guar gum, or a combination thereof. A microcapsule composition useful in delivering an active material contains a first microcapsule and a second microcapsule. The first microcapsule has a zeta potential of 10 mV or greater, the second microcapsule has a zeta potential of 5 mV or less, and the weight ratio of the first microcapsule and the second microcapsule is between 1:10 and 10:1. Also disclosed are consumer products containing such a microcapsule composition.

Polyurea capsule compositions

Disclosed are microcapsule compositions and their preparation methods. The microcapsule composition has a microcapsule dispersed in an aqueous phase. The microcapsule has a microcapsule core and a microcapsule wall encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule core contains an active material selected from the group consisting of a fragrance, cosmetic active, malodor counteractant, and combinations thereof. The microcapsule wall is formed of a polymeric network comprising of at least three moieties: (i) a first moiety derived from a chitosan, (ii) a second moiety derived from a polyisocyanate, and (iii) a third moiety derived from a polyphenol. Also disclosed are consumer products contain such a microcapsule composition.

Microcapsule compositions

Disclosed are microcapsule compositions having microcapsules suspended in an aqueous phase. Each of the microcapsules has a single core-shell structure and contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule wall encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule compositions include a pectin. Also disclosed are preparation methods and use of the microcapsule compositions in consumer products.

Microcapsule compositions prepared from polysaccharides

A system and method for printing and drying flavors and fragrances is provided. The system and method include a source of flavor or fragrance, a print assembly adapted to print the flavor or fragrance, a movable product conveyor that directly receives the printed flavor or fragrance and a drying component. As the movable product conveyor passes through or adjacent to the drying component, the printed flavor or fragrance is dried thereby providing a free-flowing flavor or fragrance product.

System and method for printing and drying flavors and fragrances

A method for producing a flowable active material-encapsulated core-shell microcapsule composition by mechanically removing solvent from a microcapsule suspension to produce a wet cake, and subsequently charging the wet cake with a dry flow aid, is provided.

Flowable core-shell microencapsule composition

A reloadable microcapsule contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule wall encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule core contains a hydrophobic core solvent and a hydrophilic core solvent, and the microcapsule wall, formed of an encapsulating polymer, is permeable to the hydrophilic core solvent. Also disclosed are methods of preparing the reloadable microcapsule and consumer products having the microcapsules.
