There is provided an antenna for a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, which includes a loop antenna, an amplifying antenna, an additional antenna structure to modify impedance of the entire antenna. The additional antenna structure has a first electromagnetic coupling with the amplifying antenna and a second electromagnetic coupling with the loop antenna.

The radio frequency communication device includes a supporting member, through which the device is arranged to attach to a cylindrical structure; and a conductive planar portion arranged to removably secure on the supporting member, the conductive planar portion includes a conductive loop being electrically connected in between the conductive planar portion and the supporting member, arranged to generate a radio frequency radiation; wherein the supporting member includes multiple flat portions arranged to fit the radio frequency device onto the cylindrical structure.

The navigation system includes: a plurality of signal sources deployed in a predetermined area; a guide machine including a signal receiver arranged to receive electromagnetic signals emitted from one or more of the plurality of signal sources; and a processor arranged to process the electromagnetic signals to identify the locations of the signal sources, and thereby to determine a current position of the guide machine with reference to the locations of the signal sources; and the processor is further arranged to determine a path for the guide machine to travel from the current position to a destination location in the predetermined area.

Method of controlling a guide machine and a navigation system

An accessory for a tag device and a RFID tagging device using the accessory. The accessory includes a tag holder defining with a slot arranged to receive the tag device and to removably secure the tag device in a predetermined position; and an antenna provided on the tag holder, wherein the antenna has a radiator arranged to couple to a feeder of the tag device when the tag device is positioned in the predetermined position within the slot.
