An object retaining system adapted to operatively associate with an intrinsic, host seat track of a vehicle for retaining devices, containers, or the like within the cabin of the vehicle. The object retaining system may utilize a track arm to slidably engage the intrinsic host seat track, and a locking mechanism may be employed to secure such engagement. Selective adjustment of the elevation and location of the retaining object is also contemplated herein with adjustable height portions and pivotable connections disclosed.

Object retaining system for vehicles

A retaining assembly to attach one or more mobile devices to a mobile object. The retaining assembly may include a mounting plate that attaches to the mobile object by way of a mounting bracket or scorecard clip-on. The mounting bracket provides dovetails for selecting engaging the mounting plate in different orientations. The mounting plate facilitates various magnetized components to removably attach to the mobile device. If the mobile device has a third-party extensible grip, a retaining ring may be employed to attach the mobile device or the extensible grip modified to one of the various magnetized components.

A mobile device attachment for a golf cart is provided. The mobile device attachment includes a plate and a mobile device mount. The plate includes an upper surface, a lower surface opposite the upper surface, a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A ridge is protruding from the upper surface near the first end. The ridge is sized to fit within a clip of a golf cart steering wheel. The plate further includes a first connector disposed near the second end. The mobile device mount includes a base having a second connector releasably securable by magnetic attraction to the first connector. The mobile device mount may further include a pair of jaws that releasably secures a mobile device therebetween.

A method of tissue compression is disclosed herein where the device to cause such compression is composed of a fastener bar and receiver. The device has the capability to self-adjust to tissues of varying thicknesses to cause hemostasis. This tissue gap variability allows for compression of regions of tissue where thick and thin tissue are both present. This variability also enables the same device to be used on a wide variety of tissues of different thicknesses. The tissue fastener bar of this invention contains a series of cut-out portions which distribute the compressive forces along the device in an alternating, staggered manner. The receiver is of a generally U-shaped configuration with the fastener bar being contained at least partially within the U-shape. Compression occurs between the side walls of the receiver and the fastener bar and variability in gap is accomplished by flexure of the side walls of the receiver. Varying side wall flexure is enhanced by cut-out portions in the receiver which allow each segment to flex somewhat independently. A number of options also exist for configuration of the fastener bar and/or receiver with the same basic method of compression being unchanged.
