The method includes advancing playback an advertisement a first predetermined period of time in response to a first user input, and retreating playback of an advertisement a second predetermined period of time in response to a second user input. The method also includes pausing playback an advertisement in response to a third user input, and resuming playback of the paused advertisement upon the expiration of a third predetermined period of time.
