The present disclosure describes a hot-fill container for use with a hot-filling process. The container includes vacuum absorption sections that resist partial collapse and uncontrolled deformation of the container's walls during the hot-filling process. The vacuum absorption sections are asymmetrically-formed and include respective edge portions and panel portions configured to deform and pivot about a linear part of the edge portions when a vacuum is created inside the container. The edge portions have a curvilinear part that is adapted to comfortably receive and engage a user's fingers during use of the container, making the container more user friendly. The vacuum absorption sections are arranged about the container's central longitudinal axis such that their respective panel portions substantially form the sides of a polygon when viewed in top plan view. The polygon appears to be inscribed within an otherwise circular container periphery.

A dispenser assembly for dispensing a liquid product includes a bottle configured to store the product, a venting pump connected to the bottle and configured to control dispensing of the product from the bottle, a mounting component, and an enclosure connected to the mounting component and engaging the bottle, wherein the enclosure is movable relative to the mounting component between an open configuration and a closed configuration, and wherein the bottle is selectively removable from the enclosure when the enclosure is in the open configuration.

A molded plastic bottle has a base having an outside surface rotationally symmetric about a longitudinal axis of the bottle including a convex heel and a central concavity separated by a standing ring supporting the bottle on an underlying surface. The convex heel has an upper margin integrally formed with the sidewall of the bottle and a lower margin defining an outer portion of the standing ring. The central concavity includes a first surface having a lower most portion defining an inner portion of the standing ring. The standing ring inner portion and outer portion intersect in an abrupt edge with the inner portion of the standing ring generally being inclined with respect to the plane at an angle of between about 30&deg; and 50&deg;.
