In some examples, a device, which may be used to access vasculature or another hollow anatomical structure of a patient, includes a housing, a cannula mechanically coupled to a housing distal end, and a needle configured to be locked in a deployed configuration in which the needle extends within a cannula lumen and protrudes from the cannula distal end. The needle is configured to slide proximally through the cannula lumen from the deployed configuration into a retracted configuration in which at least a portion of the needle is within a housing lumen. The device further includes at least one needle guide configured to maintain the needle along a path in the housing lumen substantially parallel to the needle guide when the needle moves between the deployed configuration and the retracted configuration.

Fistula cannula

An actuator assembly is provided. The actuator assembly includes housing configured for operable engagement by a user, a trigger assembly operably supported on the housing, a gas cartridge releasably secured to the housing, a valve assembly mounted within the housing for controlling the flow of pressurized gas through the housing and a cylinder actuator operably operably connected to the valve assembly. The cylinder actuator includes a piston selectively extendable therefrom configured for depressing a plunger. The piston includes a head having an inlet surface disposed within an inlet chamber of the cylinder actuator and an outlet surface disposed within the outlet chamber of the cylinder actuator. The exposed surface area of the first surface is equal to the exposed surface of the second surface.

Pneumatic actuation assembly

A spray assembly for dispensing a mixture is provided. The spray assembly includes a connector configured for operable engagement with a first and second source of component and a source of pressurized fluid, and a tip operably connected to the connector. The tip includes an opening and defines a mixing chamber between the connector and the opening of the tip, and an insert member configured to be received in the mixing chamber. The insert member includes a plurality of radially extending slots on at least one end of the insert. The plurality of radially extending slots is configured to mix the first and second components prior to the mixture exiting the opening in the tip.

Spray applicator

A drug-delivery cannula assembly includes a cannula housing adapted for receiving at least one obturator shaft of an obturator assembly therethrough, one or more cannulae, and a supply line coupled to the cannula housing. The cannula housing is adapted for receiving one or more obturator shafts of an obturator assembly therethrough. The one or more cannulae define a longitudinal axis and a passageway aligned with the longitudinal axis. The one or more cannulae each include a proximal end coupled to the cannula housing. The cannula housing is configured to fluidly-couple the one or more cannulae to a source of a drug delivery supply for supplying drugs via the supply line to the one or more cannulae.

Drug-delivery cannula assembly

A drug-delivery device includes a body configured for attachment to a handle of an ablation device, a shaft portion defining a passageway therein, and a delivery lumen to provide for drug delivery to tissue. The body includes a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a contoured portion disposed therebetween. The contoured portion is configured for engagement with a contoured portion of the handle of the ablation device. The shaft portion includes a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the shaft engages with an opening defined in the distal end of the body. The passageway of the shaft portion is configured to receive the delivery lumen slideably moveably therein. The delivery lumen includes a proximal portion and a distal portion. The drug-delivery device also includes a knob member coupled to the proximal portion of the delivery lumen.

Drug-delivery device for use with ablation device

A manifold for use with an applicator assembly is provided. The manifold includes a base having at least a first proximal extension and a distal extension. The at least first proximal extension includes an outer flange and an inner flange and defines a recess therebetween. The manifold further includes at least a first connection member securely affixed to the first proximal extension. The first connection member includes an annular flange configured to be received within the recess of the at least first proximal extension and the annular flange defines a proximal cavity. The manifold further includes at least a first seal member received within the proximal cavity between the first proximal extension and the first connection member. The seal member is configured to permit flow through the manifold in a first direction and obstruct flow through the manifold in a second direction.

Applicator assembly with integral check-valve

An applicator assembly for mixing at least a first and second component is provided. The applicator assembly includes a manifold configured for operable engagement with at least a first and second source of component, the manifold including at least a first and second component channel therethrough, an elongated shaft extending distally from the manifold, the elongated shaft including at least a first and second component lumen extending the length thereof, the at least first and second component channels in fluid communication with the at least first and second component channels, a tip assembly defining a first chamber, an intermediate chamber and a final chamber.

Silicone spray tip

A spray assembly for dispensing a mixture is provided. The spray assembly includes a connector configured for operable engagement with a first and a second source of component and a source of pressurized fluid, and a tip operably connected to the connector. The tip includes an opening and defines a mixing chamber between the connector and the opening of the tip, and an insert member configured to be received in the mixing chamber. The insert member includes a plurality of radially extending slots on at least one end of the insert. The plurality of radially extending slots is configured to mix the first and second components prior to the mixture exiting the opening in the tip.

The present disclosure relates to a surgical patch and methods of using the same. The surgical patch includes a body having a substrate, a longitudinal slit bisecting at least a portion of the body, and at least one additional slit extending from the longitudinal slit defining a retractable section. The surgical patch of the disclosure may be used, for example, to provide hemostasis at a site of anastomosis. The present disclosure also provides kits including such surgical patches, as well as templates that permit one to cut the patch to a desired size and/or shape.

Hemostatic patch

A spray tip assembly capable of self-clearing is provided. The spray tip assembly includes a distal end including an outlet. The outlet defines at least a first configuration during a first condition and at least a second configuration during a second condition. The distal end may be configured to at least one of flex and expand such that the outlet changes from the first configuration to the second configuration.
