A bipod mount for positioning a PDA device for ease of use by a recumbent person comprises a rigid post with slidably adjustable clamping jaws thereon for engaging upper and lower edges of the PDA device. The rigid post is held in a structure including a pair of friction hubs affixed to upper ends of a pair of arms that can be splayed due to the use of the friction hubs. At the second end of the arms are pivotably mounted foot members. The assembly is collapsible to a small size for storage.

Universal bipod mount for personal digital assistants

A system for diverting rain water from the underside of a deck structure is comprised of a side-by-side array of flexible water-collecting elements , each of which collect and divert rain water from a regional area of the deck structure. Each water-collecting element is shaped to control the flow of water without restriction or impediment. This shape further increases the rigidity to the water-collecting element making it relatively easy to install and support. Coupling elements are interposed between adjacent water-collecting elements which function to fix them together such that the resulting array gains structural properties and impermeability comparable to a single corrugated sheet of the same material. Mounting elements secure this array to the underside of the deck. The result is an aesthetically attractive and environmentally rugged system which is realized with very economical components. Since there is no impediment in the flow path which would accumulate debris cleaning maintenance is seldom required. When cleaning maintenance is required it can be accomplished without disassembly. Nevertheless, the system is easily disassembled for repair maintenance.

Rain water diverter system for deck structures

A combination of versatile and inexpensive elements are combined on site to create an impermeable assembly which collects water falling through a grating or cracks between adjacent boards of a deck and completely drains it to one or more points at a selected edge. The impermeable assembly is comprised of a plurality of peaks and valleys configured to simplify installation, conserve headroom and provide an aesthetically pleasing finished surface. In a first embodiment, a collector collects the water falling through cracks between boards spanning the space between adjacent joists from which it drains transversely to a gutter positioned beneath the joists. The gutter drains the water longitudinally to the perimeter of the deck.
