A computer-implemented method performed in a multi-agent system by a first network node is provided for transferring historical data from an operating agent to a second agent for an action controlling a performance of the multi-agent system. The method includes selecting at least one operating agent for transfer of historical data to the second agent. The historical data acquired from executions of an action by the at least one operating agent that at least partially fulfills an input parameter. The selecting is based on one or more criteria including (i) a performance of the at least one operating agent on the parameter or on a related parameter; (ii) an availability of the at least one operating agent; and (iii) an identity of an actuation target system for receipt of the action. The method further includes transferring the historical data to the second agent.

The disclosure provides methods, apparatus and machine-readable mediums for the detection of sleeping cells in a cellular network. A method of detecting a sleeping cell in a cellular communication network comprises: monitoring power consumption of a radio transmission point of the cellular communication network; providing the power consumption of the radio transmission point as an input to a classification model, developed using a machine-learning algorithm; and obtaining an output from the classification model, the output classifying the radio transmission point as serving one of a sleeping cell and a non-sleeping cell.

The disclosure provides methods, apparatus and machine-readable mediums for mitigating power failures in base stations in wireless communication networks. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method for mitigating power failures in a wireless communication network is provided. The method comprises, responsive to a determination that a primary power supply for a base station in the wireless communication network has failed or is predicted to fail, initiating deployment of an unmanned aerial vehicle to the base station to charge one or more batteries providing a secondary power supply for the base station.

A method is proposed for managing a tree-based learner as following. In an initialisation phase: training the tree-based learner with a first set of specimen data to process input data with an active model chain comprising at least a root model to generate an output, each member of the first set of specimen data having a value of each of a first set of features; in an automated reconfiguration phase: receiving a new set of specimen data; performing a comparison between the new set of specimen data and the first set of specimen data; responding to the executed comparison indicating new values of a feature in the new set of specimen data, by reconfiguring the tree-based learner by the addition of a new sub-model to the active model chain, the new sub-model being trained to process at least the new values of the feature.

A method of operating a protection node for protecting a pattern classification node from malicious requests may be provided. The protection node may receive, from a user node, a request containing an original pattern to be classified by a machine learning algorithm performed by the pattern classification node. The protection node may add noise to the original pattern to generate a noisy pattern. The protection node may obtain a first classification of the noisy pattern based on processing of the noisy pattern by a first clone of the machine learning algorithm at the protection node; obtain a second classification of the original pattern based forwarding the request for processing of the original pattern by the machine learning algorithm performed at the pattern classification node; and compare the first and second classifications to determine whether the first and second classifications satisfy a defined similarity rule. The protection node may use the comparison to manage the request from the user node.

Methods for protecting pattern classification node from malicious requests and related networks and nodes

A method performed in a network node for handling an Internet Protocol, IP, packet. The IP packet originates from a source node and addresses to a destination node in an IP communication network. Upon receipt of the IP packet, the network node decapsulates the IP packet to obtain, from a network layer header of the IP packet, an indication of a point in time to drop the IP packet. The point in time to drop the IP packet is based on a first maximum delay of the IP packet between the source node and the destination node. The first maximum delay was obtained from an application software running on the source node. The network node determines whether or not to drop the IP packet based on the indication, using a clock of the network node synchronized with a clock of the source node.

Method, apparatus and system for handling an internet protocol packet

An operator system of a wireless communication network operator sends, to a regulator system of a regulator, a record that includes information about administration of a subscription identifier associated with the wireless communication network operator. Subscriber records include a hardware identifier assigned when the devices are manufactured.
