The invention relates to an electrode arrangement for forming a dielectric barrier plasma discharge between an electrode () supplied with an AC high voltage by a control device () and a treatment surface () of an electrically conductive body (), said arrangement functioning as a ground electrode, wherein a dielectric material () completely covets the electrode () up to the treatment surface () and forms a contact side for the surface (). The electrode arrangement permits effective and homogeneous formation of the plasma (), in particular for large treatment surfaces (), because the electrode () consists of at least two electrode portions () arranged next to one another at the same distance () from the contact side and insulated from one another by the dielectric material (), and because adjacent electrode portions are supplied by the control device with compensating partial AC voltages which are mirror-inverted in terms of the waveform and the voltage level.

Planar flexible electrode arrangement for a dielectric barrier plasma discharge

The invention relates to a flat flexible coating arrangement comprising a coating surface () for placing on a body region of a living being and at least one electrode (') arranged above the coating surface (), and a dielectric () containing the at least one electrode (&#x2032;), the at least one electrode (&#x2032;) comprising a supply line for an AC high voltage in order to form a dielectrically impeded plasma. The invention relates to an electrode array for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment of a surface of a body, comprising at least one flexible flat electrode () and one dielectric () consisting of a flat flexible first material which protects the electrode () from the surface to be treated, with a layer () impeding a direct current flow. The dielectric () can lie on the surface to be treated, above a structure () with projections (), air spaces () being formed between the projections () for the creation of the plasma, which have a side open towards the surface to be treated, and a bottom-side closure as a result of the layer () impeding the direct current flow. The invention relates to a plasma treatment device for carrying out a dielectric barrier plasma discharge, comprising an electrode unit (), which has a treatment side (), and comprising a supply unit (), to which the electrode unit () can be mechanically connected and by means of which the electrode unit can be brought into electrical contact in order to be supplied with a supply voltage necessary for the plasma generation, wherein the electrode unit () has an electrode arrangement, which is shielded by means of a planar dielectric () at least toward the treatment side (), enables the use of different electrode units () with the same supply unit () in that the electrode unit () has a coding and the supply unit () has an identifying device for the coding and the identifying device is connected to a control device, which controls the supply voltage for the plasma generation in accordance with the identified coding.

Plasma treatment device

A device for treating a surface with a dielectric harrier plasma, wherein the surface functions as a counterelectrode, has an electrically insulating housing and a housing head. A rotatable electrode connected to a high-voltage feed line is shielded by a dielectric and protrudes out of the housing head. The configuration has fundamentally unrestricted movement of the electrode over the surface to be treated in that the electrode has rotary bearing elements which are arranged in a center axis and a rotation axis is at an angle to the center axis.

Device for treating a surface with a dielectric barrier plasma

Flat flexible support piece for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment

The invention relates to an electrode array for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment of a surface of an electrically conductive body used as a counter electrode, comprising a flexible planar electrode () and a dielectric () of a planar flexible material, which by way of a layer () preventing a direct current flow shields the electrode () from the surface to be treated. By way of a structure having projections, the dielectric () can rest upon the surface to be treated, wherein air spaces for forming the plasma are formed in between the projections. The producibility in particular is improved in that the structure is a lattice structure () of adjoining walls () that limit a plurality of chambers () forming the air spaces, and in that the chambers () have a bottom-side closure through the layer () of the dielectric () preventing the direct current flow and have a face that is open to the surface to be treated, the contact surface of which face consists of end edges () of the walls () of the lattice structure () on the surface to be treated.

A flat pad structure, designed to generate a dielectric barrier discharge plasma on a contact side () of said pad structure, comprises a flat electrode arrangement () which is embedded in a flat dielectric (), can be supplied with high-voltage signals and is shielded on all sides against an unimpeded current flow; said pad structure has better stability and can be better adapted to elongate treatment areas because a width of the structure extends in a longitudinal direction (L) and in the longitudinal direction (L) the structure has a plurality of identically structured portions (), each with a dielectric portion in the width of the pad structure and each with at least one electrode portion; the electrode portions of said portions () adjoin one another in the longitudinal direction (L) and form an electrode arrangement () extending over the entire length such that, in order to reduce the size of the contact surface in the longitudinal direction (L), at least one portion () can be separated from an adjacent portion () at a predetermined separation line () extending transverse to the longitudinal direction (L) and such that in the remaining portion () the predetermined separation line () is covered by an insulating component ().

Flat pad structure

The invention relates to a treatment device for a surface to be treated using a dialectically impeded plasma, comprising a housing () which has an end wall (') and comprising an electrode () which is shielded from the surface to be treated by a dielectricum () that forms at least one part of the end wall (&#x2032;) and which can be connected to a high-voltage generator (). The end wall (&#x2032;) has at least one spacer (&#x2032;) by means of which at least one gas chamber is formed when the at least one spacer (&#x2032;) rests against the surface to be treated, and the dialectically impeded plasma is formed in the gas chamber for the treatment process. The treatment device simultaneously allows a treatment using the dialectically impeded plasma and the metered supply of a treatment agent in that a storage chamber (&#x2032;) which can be filled with a treatment agent is arranged on the end wall (&#x2032;) face facing away from the surface to be treated; the end wall (&#x2032;) has passage openings (&#x2032;); and the volume of the storage chamber (&#x2032;) can be reduced such that the treatment agent reaches the region of the surface to be treated through the passage openings (&#x2032;) when the volume is reduced.

Treatment device for a treatment using a dialectically impeded plasma

A device for treating a body surface of a living body by means of a dielectric barrier discharge plasma, with a planar, flexible dielectric () by which an electrode () attached to a high voltage source () is screened off from the body surface and which is suitable for placing on the body surface, functioning as counter-electrode, and is designed with a structured surface () which provides a gas space for the plasma discharge between dielectric () and body surface, which device permits the conduct of plasma treatment and the delivery of curative or healing substances without a change of the position of the device, by virtue of the fact that a layer () composed of a solid, open-pore matrix of a curative or healing material is arranged on the surface () of the dielectric ().

Device for treating a body surface of a living body

A plasma-treatment instrument for treating a surface with a dielectric-barrier plasma field generated between an electrode and the surface has a high a.c. voltage supplied to the electrode by a controller. The electrode forms with a dielectric surrounding the electrode a cylindrical roller that is rotatably supported in a grip housing. The plasma-treatment instrument has a shell surface and is capable of being rolled along the surface. The plasma-treatment allows an efficient and safe treatment of the surface by virtue of the fact that the electrode includes at least two partial electrodes arranged alongside one another at equal intervals from the shell surface and which are insulated from one another by the dielectric. The at least two partial electrodes are connected to different terminals of a source of high a.c. voltage.
