A clip assembly having first and second clip members. In an example embodiment the first and second clip members are generally matching. Each clip member includes a mounting member adapted to envelope and slide along an edge of an associated mounting support, such as a ceiling T rail. Each clip member further includes a spacer member arranged generally parallel to the mounting member. The clip members are adapted to be mutually engaged by the engaging means included in respective spacer members when the first and second clip members are drawn together as a result of the respective mounting members sliding toward each other along opposed edges of the mounting support. The clip assembly is secured to the mounting support by an external screw and capable of being easily released from it, when necessary.

Clip assembly

An adjustable clip having a first clip member and a second clip member. The first clip member includes a first slide tang that includes a first end, a second end with a detent tang. The second clip member includes a second slide tang having a first end, a second end with a detent tang. The slide tangs of the first and second clip members are positioned over the rail for installation and the slide tangs are moved towards each other until the detent tangs of the first and second clip members engage opposing ends of the rail.

Adjustable clip

An improved bracket is utilized in a mounting system for a modular system connector used in connecting devices to cables such as network cable, coaxial cable, or fiber optic cable. The bracket has a pair of mounting portions for securing to an outlet box and a modular receiving portion for receiving a modular connector. The modular receiving portion is located in the outlet box and angled downward to allow the connection of the cable at such an angle and position that it can connect to a flush mounted device. Accordingly, the modular connector is not flush or projecting from the outlet such as in conventional devices and therefore is not required to be removed from its mounting in order to mount a flush mounted device such as a voice over IP telephone.

Permanent terminations of network cables

This invention is directed to a security system for wireless access points which includes a mounting bracket, an enclosure frame, a lock plate and a locking device. The mounting bracket couples the access point to a stationary surface. The enclosure frame is adapted to be fastened to the mounting bracket and configured to cover the mounting bracket. The lock plate is suitably adapted to secure the enclosure frame to the mounting bracket and to prevent access to either an I/O connector and/or a power connector. The locking device secures the lock plate to the mounting bracket and enclosure frame. When engaged by the locking device, the lock plate prevents removal of the access point and access to either the I/O connector and/or the power connector.

Physical security system for wireless access points that prevents removal of the access point and associated connectors

This invention is directed to a security system for wireless access points which includes a clamp assembly and a locking device. The clamp assembly is clamped around I/O panel connectors, and then secured to the access point enclosure frame via a metal capture plate. The metal capture plate extends from an end of the clamp assembly and engages the lower half of the access point enclosure frame, securing the clamp assembly to the access point. Additionally, the locking device locks the clamp assembly halves in a closed position, thus preventing removal of the access point and blocking any unauthorized users from accessing the I/O ports.
