A solenoid valve system includes a valve body defining porting for a fluid flow through the valve body, and first and second solenoid valve components attached oppositely to the valve body. Each valve component includes an electromagnetically driven armature with a poppet that moves between a closed position and an open position. The porting defined by the valve body includes first side porting, second side porting, and common porting in fluid communication with an internal common chamber defined by the valve body. When a respective poppet is in the closed position, flow of fluid is blocked between the respective side porting and the common porting, and when the respective poppet is in the open position the poppet permits a flow of fluid between the respective side porting and the common porting through the common chamber.

Ultra-low carryover solenoid valve

A noise mitigation boot that can be installed on or integrated into a miniature diaphragm pump to reduce the overall noise and improve sound quality during operation. The diaphragm pump includes a housing having first and second ports and an interior chamber, a pumping diaphragm disposed in the interior chamber and dividing the interior chamber into a pumping chamber and a backside chamber, a motor for reciprocating the pumping diaphragm for pumping air into and out of the pumping chamber, and flow passages connecting the pumping chamber to the first and second ports. The first port is configured for attachment to a flow line and the second port opens to an exterior surface of the housing. The noise mitigation boot has a muffler wall overlying the exterior surface of the housing. The muffler wall has formed therein a passage extending from the second port to the backside chamber for effecting fluid communication between the second port and the backside chamber.

Miniature vacuum/pressure diaphragm pumps with noise mitigation boot

A solenoid valve assembly includes an armature having a longitudinal axis and an ovular cross-section, the armature being moveable along the longitudinal axis from a first position to a second position, and a bobbin including a solenoid coil configured to electromagnetically move the armature when energized. The bobbin defines a recess also having an ovular cross section for receiving the armature and restricting lateral movement of the armature, thereby providing a linear actuation path for the armature along the longitudinal axis. A flux coupler and a flux bracket form a magnetic circuit with the bobbin to electromagnetically move the armature. The flux bracket has a pole piece with a commensurate ovular cross-section that limits the movement of the armature along the longitudinal axis, thereby determining a stroke length of the armature. During manufacture, the flux bracket, and therefore the pole piece, are moved relative to the flux coupler to set the stroke length.
