Responsive determining that a client device is authorized for access to a ventilator, a user interface is provided, including a display of configuration information for the ventilator, the displayed configuration information including a current mode of operation of the ventilator and one or more ventilation settings affecting a current ventilation of a patient by the ventilator. A ventilation setting to modify the current ventilation of the patient is received and, before the current ventilation is modified by the received ventilation setting, a ventilation index for the received ventilation setting is determined based on comparing the current ventilation with the aggregated setting and outcome data for the plurality of patient ventilations, and a representation of the ventilation index is displayed responsive to receiving the ventilation setting. An instruction to modify the current ventilation of the patient based on the received setting and the determined ventilation index.

A method, system and computer-readable medium are provided for weaning patients from ventilation, the method including the steps of receiving infusion and ventilation information, and determining whether to initiate termination of the ventilation. The method further including determining whether a timing of an extubation was performed according to the rules and protocols, and providing a notification to a client device regarding the timing of the extubation.

System and method for weaning patients from ventilation

Patient information is associated with a respective ventilator device of a medical ventilator devices. Based on the ventilator data and associating the patient information, a ventilation configuration of the respective ventilator device and patient ventilation data related to a ventilation of the respective patient are determined. A current configuration of each of the plurality of medical ventilators is provided for display. In this regard, a display includes the determined ventilation configuration of the respective ventilator device and patient ventilation data of the respective patient. A control may also be displayed for changing a setting associated with the respective ventilator device and, when a change of the setting is received and implemented by the respective ventilator device, an indication of the change of the setting may be provided. Patient orientation may also be sensed and used to determine whether a setting needs to be changed or suction is needed.

A method, system and computer-readable medium are provided for determining compliance with patient care protocols, comprising an infusion pump providing infusion information pertaining to one or more drugs administered to a patient, the one or more drugs including sedatives and analgesics, and a processor communicably coupled to the infusion pump and configured to determine information regarding the one or more drugs being administered to the patient based on the infusion information by determining a baseline threshold for the one or more drugs being administered to the patient according to the actual dosage of the one or more drugs administered to the patient prior to a current time, determining a dosage amount of the one or more drugs currently being administered to the patient and comparing the dosage amount of the one or more drugs currently being administered to the baseline threshold to determine a deviation from the baseline threshold.

A method, system and computer-readable medium are provided for determining compliance with one or more patient care rules and protocols, the method including the steps of sending infusion information from a pump to a processor pertaining to one or more drugs provided to a patient, sending ventilation information from a ventilator to the processor pertaining to ventilation provided to the patient and determining, with the processor, a variation between actual care of the patient and a set of rules and protocols associated with care of the patient at least in part based on the infusion information and the ventilation information.

Analytics regarding ventilated patients

A monitoring system for multiple medical ventilators is provided. In one aspect, the monitoring system includes a memory that includes instructions, and a processor. The processor is configured to execute the instructions to receive data for a plurality of medical ventilators, and identify a configuration for each of the plurality of medical ventilators from the received data for the plurality of medical ventilators. The processor is also configured to execute the instructions to associate each patient with a respective one of the plurality of medical ventilators, determine an identification and status for each patient associated with one of the plurality of medical ventilators, and provide, for display, information indicative of the configuration of each of the plurality of medical ventilators and indicative of the identification and status of each patient associated with one of the plurality of medical ventilators. Methods and machine-readable media are also provided.
