Compounds comprising quinazolinone derivatives and methods of identification and use of imaging agents. The compounds have the general formula I: wherein R2 is selected from halogen, halosubstituted alkyl, alkyl, hydroxyl-alkyl, and amino-alkyl; X is selected from ester, carbonyl or &#x2014;CH2&#x2014;; R1 is selected from mono-, or bicyclic aromatic or heteroaromatic ring systems, wherein the mono-, or bicyclic aromatic or heteroaromatic ring systems are optionally substituted by halo, alkyl, nitro, alkoxy, amino; R3 is selected from one or two halo, halosubstituted alkyl, alkyl, nitro, hydroxyl-alkyl, and alkyl tosylate; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The compounds of the present invention may be used for detection, diagnosis and/or staging of prostate or other forms of cancer, and may also be used for cardiac disease.

Quinazolinone derivatives useful for imaging

The present invention concerns compositions comprising and methods of identification and use of imaging agents. The imaging agents comprise a growth hormone secretagogues having a conjugated fluoride. The imaging agents of the present invention may be used for detection, diagnosis and/or staging of prostate or other forms of cancer, and may also be used for cardiac disease.

Peptidomimetics for imaging the ghrelin receptor

Cyclized peptides derived from the hyaluronan binding region of RHAMM are provided. Pharmaceutical compositions and methods for using the peptides and pharmaceutical compositions are also provided. Stapled peptides and uses thereof

Provided are methods and compositions for cartilage repair. The method involves performing a surgical procedure at the site of a cartilage defect and administering a composition comprising a receptor for hyaluronan mediated motility (RHAMM)-mimetic peptide, and a high molecular weight hyaluronan.

Compositions and methods for cartilage defect repair using a RHAMM-mimetic peptide

The present invention provides for peptides that bind to Receptor for Hyaluronic Acid Mediated Motility (RHAMM) molecules. More specifically, provided are peptides capable of specifically binding RHAMM molecules and capable of binding RHAMM with substantially high affinity. These novel RHAMM-binding peptides provide the basis for new imaging probes that can be used to identify cells expressing RHAMM, and for methods of imaging, prognosis, diagnosis and treatment of conditions associated with RHAMM expression.

Methods for identifying subjects having bone loss by detecting bone microparticles in a sample of their bodily fluid are disclosed. Methods for monitoring bone loss and assessing efficacy of bone loss therapies by detecting bone microparticles in bodily fluid samples are also disclosed. Compounds for use as a negative control in the disclosed methods are provided as well as kits comprising such compounds.
