A system and method for presenting a plurality of items to a user with a contextual display. A computer system is provided which includes a data store. At least a portion of the items in the data store include one or more field entries. An explorer interacts with the data store, selects items having one or more desired field entries, and displays the selected items according to an explorer display schema. An application may select the items from the data store and may interact with a shell browser to present the selected items. A method for establishing an explorer for presenting items in a data store to a user.

A system and method for presenting related items to a user. A universal data store is provided which contains a plurality of items. A portion of the items contain relational information that allows relationships between two or more of the plurality of items to be determined. A shell presents a selected item to a user and is configured to utilize the relational information to present one or more items in the data store which are related to the selected item.

A client-based system has a scheduling subsystem to schedule a time to obtain the Web content from the server. When the client reaches the scheduled time, the scheduling subsystem generates an event notification that contains sufficient information explaining how to retrieve the Web content. The client-based system has a delivery subsystem that is responsive to the event notification to obtain the Web content at the time set by the scheduling subsystem. The delivery subsystem preferably has multiple delivery modules that enable different types of distribution mechanism. In addition to the Web content or data itself, the delivery subsystem obtains an index to the Web content. The index summarizes the Web content to facilitate local search and find tasks. The index and Web content are stored in a cache at the client. An indexing subsystem presents the index to a user and enables the user to select from the index portions of the Web content that they prefer. Based on these preferences, filters are created to remove items not of interest. When the client is offline, the user browses the cached Web content. The user is offered essentially the same functionality as a live online session, except that any requests to a remote server are temporarily accumulated for later submission. When the client reconnects to the server, all accumulated data is sent in batch to the appropriate servers. The user can also create his/her own channel by aggregating content from different channels.

Client-side system for scheduling delivery of web content and locally managing the web content

A multipurpose hand-held tool having a handle and a head wherein the head has a plurality of implements. The head has a middle portion, which is connected the handle, a first head end and a second head end. The first head end has three cutters such that there is a cutting edge on the top side, the end, and the bottom side of the first head. The first head end also includes a plurality of gauge holes in the top side, and a nail slot on the bottom side. The second head end includes both a hammer head connected to the end and a hammer claw connected to the top side of the second head end. The multipurpose hand-held tool meets a need for roofers to have a multipurpose tool which helps to quickly, efficiently and accurately remove and replace roofing materials.

A boat lift includes a pair of straps or ropes which are secured at one end at intermediate elevations along a pair of horizontally spaced upright standards. The straps extend downwardly beneath a boat and then upwardly where they are secured about pulleys mounted on a horizontal shaft journaled at the top of the standards. Rotation of the shaft by a handwheel will shorten the straps and lift and completely overturn the boat.
