Weighted and stackable exercise device includes a body defining a hollow cavity opening at a first edge thereof. The body has a side wall having at least one cut-out. An outwardly projecting rim is arranged on the tubular portion of the body. A handle is arranged in the cavity. The rim provides a first grip for a user during use of the exercise device and the handle provides a second grip for the user. By providing different grips on the same weighted exercise device, a user can safely and efficiently perform a larger variety of exercises in comparison to using conventionally shaped exercise devices that include only a single type of grip. The user can also pass their fingers and hand from an exterior of the device through each cut-out and over the rim to grip the device in another manner and perform even more and different exercises using the exercise device.

Weighted and stackable exercise device includes a body defining a hollow cavity opening at a first edge thereof. The body has a side wall having at least one cut-out. Weighted exercise device includes a generally hemispherical body defining a hollow cavity opening at a first edge of the body, and an outwardly projecting rim arranged on the body proximate to the first edge. A handle is arranged in the cavity. The rim provides a first grip during use of the device and the handle provides a second grip during use of the device. By providing two different grips on the same weighted device, and due to the symmetrical rounded shape, with a low center of gravity, the weight is evenly distributed around a user's hands, and a user can safely and efficiently perform a larger variety of exercises in comparison to using conventionally shaped exercise devices that include only a single type of grip.

An allergy testing apparatus for testing a patient for a plurality of allergies at the same time comprises an actuating member resiliently suspended from a frame member and which is movable relative to the frame member. A plurality of spaced apart substance sources are mounted in the frame member below the actuating member. A plurality of spaced apart needles or the like are mounted on the actuating member and extend in the same direction so as to pierce the respective substance sources during movement of the actuating member toward the skin of a patient to apply the substances to the skin of a patient. According to another feature of the invention, the device is shaped like a rotatable, drum-like device, having a plurality of layers. The needles or the like are covered over by a resilient layer, and substance containing means are mounted over the resilient layer and in registration with the respective needles. When the device is pressed against the skin of a patient, the resilient layer compresses, permitting the needles to pierce the substance containers to apply the substances to the skin of a patient. Adjustable length substance carrying means are also disclosed.

Allergy testing apparatus and method

A tap wrench comprising a handle portion and a chuck is provided with a joint arrangement that allows for axial misalignment of the handle portion and the chuck. The joint comprises a stem that extends from the chuck and provides four planar pins equidistantly spaced thereabout which slidably engage four slots equidistantly spaced about a central opening defined in the handle portion. The stem is retained within the central opening by the engagement of each pin in a respective slot. Oscillation of the stem within the central opening provides for the above-noted axial misalignment.

Tap wrench

A means to connect a hypodermic syringe to its bottle of medicament, so that the syringe is in proper alignment to pierce the bottle sealing diaphragm. The means also holds the syringe to the bottle so that a measured amount of medicament may be withdrawn. Also included are sealing caps to retain full sterility of all elements during use and also non-use. The means permits the entire volume of the medicament to be withdrawn in a plurality of measured doses.

A braking pad device for a bicycle which includes two separate braking pads of different compositions. One braking pad is particularly suitable for use in dry weather, while the second braking pad is particularly suitable for use in wet weather. The braking pads are to be movable to be located in position for use.

A slide holder and transfer device which is preferably fabricated of a single integral member has side gripping members which are always resiliently biased toward a slide gripping position by a resilient biasing member which bridges a group of slides. Manual gripping members are provided for flexing the first resilient biasing member against the bias thereof to move the side gripping members apart for either engaging a group of slides or for releasing a previously engaged group of slides. Even when the side gripping members are in such spaced apart condition, they are resiliently biased toward their more closely spaced relative position by the first resilient biasing member.

A head support for use on airplanes, buses and the like comprises a pair of pillows and an interconnecting member connecting the pillows with a spacing therebetween. Two interconnecting members may be provided. The interconnecting member is preferably releasably connected to the pillows and may be elastic or non-elastic.

A rotatable hanging device comprises a main member having a substantially central bore therethrough which is adapted to receive a screw, or the like, for rotatably mounting same to a horizontal surface, such as a ceiling. An elongated generally U-shaped suspension member depends from and extends downwardly from the main member. The suspension member is selectively openable by means of a latch or lock mechanism to permit an object to be hung to pass therethrough.

A rotatable hanging device comprises a main member having a substantially central bore therethrough which is adapted to receive a screw, or the like, for rotatably mounting same to a horizontal surface, such as a ceiling. An elongated suspension or hooked member extends downwardly from the main member. Preferably, the main member has additional bores therethrough on either side of the central bore and a recess in the upper surface thereof and in which the additional bores open. Preferably, the suspension or hooked member is of wire-like material, the ends of which extend through the additional bores and which are bent over or otherwise deformed so as to prevent their passing out again through said additional bores. Alternatively, the main member and suspension or hooked member are integrally formed.
