Systems, methods, and software described herein provide improvements of identifying stances of data sources for events. In one implementation, an event summary service identifies data objects that correspond to an event and identifies a data source from a plurality of data sources for each of the data objects. The summary service further, for each data object of the data objects, processing the data object to identify pertinent data related to a stance for the data source for the data object in relation to the event, and identifies a stance for each of the plurality of data sources based on the pertinent data identified in the data objects.

Stance detection and summarization for data sources

Systems, methods, and software described herein provide enhancements of managing summaries provided to end users. In one implementation, a summary service identifies data objects that correspond to an event and classifies each of the data objects into classifications of interest. Once classified, data objects are compared between the different classifications to identify information differences, and the information differences are used to generate a summary for an end user of the summary service.

Classification and comparison of event related

Systems, methods, and software described herein provide enhancements of managing summaries provided to end users. In one implementation, a summary service provides a user with identifier for a plurality of events, and obtains a selection from the user, wherein the selection identifies a first type of summary for an event in the plurality of events. The summary service further provides the user with a first summary of the first type for the event, identifies one or more suggested types of summaries for the event based at least in part on data points for the event, and provides the one or more suggested types of summaries to the user.
