A weapon for use in a simulated war game which has the characteristics of a land mine and therefore does not require the user to be in proximity to a target when the weapon is activated. The weapon includes a housing having a first chamber adapted to contain a slurry of a marking agent and dispersing agent. A second chamber, communicating with the first chamber, is adapted to contain a propelling agent such as a cylinder of compressed gas for example. A trigger mechanism is operatively associated with an activator for the propelling agent to actuate the activator when the trigger mechanism is tripped. When the activator is actuated, the propellant is released into the first chamber to drive the slurry from such chamber through an opening into an exterior receptacle, which in turn directs the slurry in a desired pattern exteriorly of the housing.

Land mine for use in a simulated war game

A weapon for use in simulated war games, such weapon being particularly usable in situations where targets or opposing pesonnel are out of a direct line of sight or where weapon use in a conventional manner would be otherwise dangerous and should be avoided. Such weapon includes a frangible chamber and a slurry contained within such chamber. The slurry contains a dispersing agent and a plurality of particles serving as a marking agent. Further, a storage container is provided for receiving the slurry-containing frangible chamber to protect the chamber from accidental rupture. In use, the slurry-containing chamber is removed from the container and delivered toward the target by being manually tossed in an arcuate path to strike a target or the vicinity thereof. On striking such target, or its vicinity, the frangible chamber ruptures and the dispersing agent disperses the marking particles against such target thereby identifying the target as being eliminated from the game. As such the weapon emulates a manually deliverable grenade.

Simulated war game weapon

A balancing apparatus of the platform and spherical fulcrum type in which the spherical fulcrum is rotatable about its orthogonal axes to enable the fulcrum to move freely over a horizontal surface. A platform support on the spherical fulcrum has a first surface and oppositely facing second surface engaging the spherical fulcrum. A foot support is centrally located on the first surface. A stop means, for defining the extent of movement of the platform relative to the spherical fulcrum, is positioned on the second surface at a location outside the projection of the foot support from the first surface on the second surface.
