An aqueous cleaning composition for cleaning hard surfaces has been discovered, the composition comprising: (a) from about 0.1 weight % to about 5 weight % of a siloxane block polymers as structurally represented by Formula A, as follows: ##STR1## wherein PE is CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O(EO).sub.m Me, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O(EO).sub.m H, or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O(PO).sub.n Bu, where EO is ethyleneoxy and PO is 1,2-propyleneoxy and said siloxane block polymer has a molecular weight ranging from about 3000 to about 4000; (b) from about 0.1 weight % to about 5 weight % of a C.sub.9 to C.sub.15 ethoxylate; (c) from about 1 weight % to about 10 weight % of a C.sub.4 -C.sub.9 alkylene glycol C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 monoalkyl ether; and (d) from about 5 weight % to about 15 weight % of a chelating agent. The inventive composition imparts a residual protection on cleaned surfaces thereby assisting to hinder resoiling of the cleaned surface.

Aqueous cleaning composition for hard surfaces

A flowable powder fabric dry cleaning formulation is disclosed. The formulations contains powdered cellulose, borax hydrated amorphous silica, anionic surfactants, an organic solvent, water; and a zeolite.

Stable liquid disinfectant laundry detergent compositions, having germicidal, cleaning, fabric brightening and anti-soil redeposition properties, contain a non-ionic surfactant, a cryptoanionic surfactant and a quaternary ammonium germicide and, optionally, minor amounts of other non-essential ingredients.

A stable mildly acidic aqueous polishing cleanser for removing stains from hard surfaces comprising by weight from about 8 to 20% of a polishing agent having an average particle size of about 2 to 10 microns and a particle size distribution from about 1 to 40 microns, from about 1 to 5% of a nonionic surfactant, from about 1 to 2.25% of a thickening agent comprising smectite clay and xanthan gum in a ratio of about 2:1 respectively, from about 1.25 to 6.25% of an oxalate salt selected from ammonium bioxalate or a mixture of ammonium bioxalate and ammonium oxalate, and from about 68 to 89% of water, said cleanser having a pH of about 3.0 to 4.5. Preparation of the cleanser and its properties are given.

Stable mildly acidic aqueous polishing cleanser and preparation thereof

A method and composition for deodorizing rugs is provided herein by applying a non-free flowing powder-fragrance composition onto a carpet and subsequently removing the composition, preferably by vacuuming. The invention also includes a package in the form of a shakeable canister for applying to rugs the aforementioned non-free flowing powder-fragrance composition. The non-free flowing powdered composition is made up of essentially an inorganic salt, such as sulfate, a chloride or bicarbonate or mixtures thereof, a fragrance, an antistatic and rheological control agent selected from natural and synthetic zeolites, and a liquid agglomerating agent. The composition exhibits stable non-free flowing properties, even at elevated temperatures, over a long period of time.

Antistatic zeolite composition and method for deodorizing rugs and rooms

Multicomponent wax emulsion polish compositions are viscosity stabilized with a compound of the formula R--X--O--(C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub.n --H wherein R is an aliphatic group and X is selected from the group consisting of phenylene, carbonyl and a carbon to oxygen bond and n is a whole number from about 12 to about 50. The compositions are of special interest in providing shoe polish compositions useful in functional dispensers.
