A wearable device takes potentially contaminated air from the environment, sterilizes it with UVC light, and transports the sterilized air to a headgear. In the headgear it provides an air curtain at a slight overpressure, flowing from the top down. Used air exits the headgear at its bottom. The headgear includes a helmet or a full-face mask. An inline system connects to the headgear using an air hose. The inline system has two or more connecting pipes on the inside of which are UVC light sources. Air flows from an air inlet filter through the connecting pipes, where it is disinfected by the UVC light, to the air hose and headgear. Mounting brackets mount the connecting pipes, and may include fans, and brackets for the UVC light sources.

Wearable devices that actively disinfect

A multi-group brightness controllable LED tube comprises a multi-input source selector which directs electric power to the tube from a set of diversion switches inserted between a power source and preexisting ballast. The diversion switches automatically re-establish new electric current paths to supply the LED tube power and safely bypass the preexisting ballast. The LED tube also comprises a digital sub section selector for selecting two groups of SMD (surface mounted device) LED strip lights for intensity control. When first turned on, the light will be at 66% brightness. A first toggle action dims the light to 33% brightness, and a second toggle action brings it up to 100%. The third toggle will reset the LED tube to 66% brightness. The retrofitted LED tube is suitable for single end as well as double end fixtures without a complicated conversion process. Furthermore, fixtures can be reverted back to original fluorescent operation.

Method and apparatus for retrofitting fluorescent tubes to light emitting diodes

A PBX call discrimination system which provides voice, FAX, and data services utilizing one telephone number (DID) for each local line being serviced. The PBX connects incoming lines to local lines serviced by it. Each local line is identified by a DID received in a call setup message on the incoming line. The PBX stores information associating a voice call extension, a FAX line, and a modem line with each DID. The PBX identifies an incoming call as being a voice call, a FAX transmission, or a data transmission. The incoming call is connected to the FAX line associated with that DID if the incoming call is identified as a FAX transmission, and to the modem line associated with that DID if the incoming call is identified as a data transmission. FAX and modem servers can be connected to the PBX for directing FAX and data transmissions, respectively, to the intended called party. The routing information utilized by such servers is provided by the PBX.
