Manually operable discharging apparatus for media

The thrust piston pump of a delivery apparatus for liquid media and the like is provided with a valve arrangement in the suction passage. The valve arrangement has two valve seats acting in opposing manner and is associated with a single common valve body. This permits a rapid transfer of the valve body into the closed position engaging on the valve seat, particularly during operation in an inverted position. In addition, the discharge passage has a mechanically openably discharge valve which can be simply opened by displacing the actuating head of the pump with respect to a collar of the pump piston.

Invention Bump for liquid media

A vacuum-tight and pressure-tight closed storage space in a container is constructionally combined with a thrust piston pump projecting thereinto and a drag piston slidably guided therein and in the initial position of the thrust piston pump is hermetically sealed by an exhaust valve mechanically closed in forcibly controlled manner. The drag piston is adapted to the thrust piston pump in such a way that the storage space can be emptied substantially free with the thrust piston pump.

Fluid dispenser

A dispensing pump means has an operating pusher for effecting a pump stroke and a control means for selectively varying the length of stroke. The control includes a neck on a base for receiving the operating pusher, cooperating grooves and abutment shoulders guiding the pusher and setting its maximum stroke. At least one projection positively slides in a selected one of a plurality of grooves of different lengths, the projection being positioned out of the grooves and in front of the ends of the grooves in an initial position of the pump, i.e., prior to the pump stroke. Axially preceding the ends of the grooves, an arched path extends around the pump axis and guides the projection during manual rotation of the operation pusher as the projection is positioned over the selected groove.

Atomizing or metering pump

A dosing or atomizing pump for liquid, creamy or pasty media has, in addition to its outlet valve provided on the pump chamber an additional valve provided in the pump operating pushbutton and closes the discharge opening directly at its mouth. By means of the hydraulic pressure, the additional valve body is operated by means of a differential piston. In a variant, the valve body can be a functional part of an atomizer nozzle. The additional valve prevents drying or other negative influencing of the medium in the discharge passage.

Atomizing or dosing pump

Invertable pump for liquid media

A dosing mechanism in the form of a manually operable, single-acting piston pump, which dispenses a given quantity of a substance, e.g. in atomized form, during each actuating stroke has a counter. For this purpose, a counting ring mounted in rotary manner on a base part is provided, which is advanced by one step per actuating stroke by an indexing device with cooperating and correspondingly bevelled ribs, so that in each case a different character in the counting ring appears at a window in the actuating pusher casing. Two projections cooperating with one another in a given position of the counting ring form a locking device against further actuation of the atomizing pump, when a given number of strokes have been performed.
