Cleaning cartridge

A system and method for cleaning a cart wheel includes an elongated body having a central channel having an entry end and an exit end. A shuttle slidably engages the elongated body and is engageable by a wheel entering the central channel from the entry end such that the wheel pushes the shuttle along the central channel and disengages the shuttle adjacent the exit end, wherein a sliding engagement between the wheel and the shuttle cleans the wheel.

Wheel cleaning apparatus and method

A flat mop cover for mop-cover holder, where the flat mop cover comprises an elongate basic body. The basic body has a first elongate surface and a second elongate surface, which lie opposite one another. At least one foam-material layer is disposed between the elongate surfaces, and the two elongate surfaces are each configured to be cleaning surfaces. The two elongate surfaces are disposed such that a plate-shaped carrying element of a mop-cover holder is configured to be disposed in a sandwich-like manner between the two surfaces. The basic body is configured to absorb in a reversible manner at least four times, and at most twenty times, its dry weight in liquid, and wherein the foam-material layer has no fibers.

An insert for a mop includes a rail and a cleaning element at least partially disposed in an internal channel of the rail. Two protrusions are disposed on the body, each forming a leg connected to the body and a cylindrical wall defining an actuation bore connected to the leg. Each actuation bore is adapted to overlap a substantial portion of a tine, the tine being associated with a sponge mop having a hand lever that operates to pull the tine, the tine being disposed in the actuation bore and configured to impart a force onto the body through the actuation bore to pull the rail and the cleaning element through a set of rollers to wring out fluids that may be present in the cleaning element.
