A storage console includes a housing with a storage chamber, two closure members connected to the housing, an actuator movably arranged in the housing and a latch mechanism rotatably connected to the housing. The two closure members can be rotated to open or close the storage chamber. The latch mechanism includes two latch members and a synchronizer connected between the two latch members. The movement of the actuator actuates the two latch members to rotate to a lock position in which the two latch members engage with the two closure members or a release position in which the two latch members are separated from the two closure members. The two closure members of the storage console can be opened synchronously by use of the actuator and closed independently of each other.

A cord connection assembly of a vehicle includes a wall, a door movable to and defining a space from the wall, and a receptacle received within the space and to detachably connect a plug with a cord. At least one of the wall and the door include a through-aperture to receive the cord such that first and second parts of the cord are positioned respectively inside and outside of the space when the plug is connected to the receptacle.

The present invention in one or more embodiments provides a base for supporting shifter, wherein the base includes longitudinal axis, a first cross-section including a first border defining therein a first aperture, and a second cross-section positioned spaced apart from the first cross-section along the longitudinal axis and including a second border defining therein a second aperture. The base as provided is believed to be advantageous in supporting the shifter while allowing arrangement for the air duct to pass through and therefore to improve comfort for the rear-seat passenger without having to necessarily increase the interior packaging size.

A visor bracket is provided to be mounted over a bracket aperture of an interior trim, where the visor bracket includes a bracket housing including a base and a side wall, the base defining a shaft aperture to receive there-through a support shaft of a visor panel, the side wall extending from the base and to be received through the bracket aperture along a mounting direction, and the visor bracket further includes an electrically-conducting material contacting the side wall.
