In an arrangement for obtaining reliable anchoring of a threaded implant in dentine, a hole is made in the bone substance. In the side wall of the hole it is possible to establish an internal threading which can cooperate with an external threading on the implant. The implant threading is arranged to force the bone substance out in essentially radial directions as a function of the extent to which the implant is screwed into the hole. The threading is arranged to effect greater forcing out of the bone substance at the outer parts of the hole than at the inner parts of the hole. The degree of forcing out is adapted in relation to the softness of the bone in order to achieve the reliable anchoring. Along at least part of the longitudinal direction of the implant, the implant threading can be given a non-circular configuration for the purpose of obtaining improved rotational stability in soft/weak bone.

Apparatus and a method for controlling vermin either directly or indirectly via objects giving shelter to the vermin. Cooling of the vermin is effected by providing dry snow particles by passing pressurized carbon dioxide through a nozzle directed at the vermin. Smaller and larger snow particle sizes are allocated within a selected range of sizes and velocities. Environmentally friendly and rapid control of the vermin is achieved, and an effectively functioning cooling system is provided, which, by the gradual supply of snow, executes cooling through different velocities and sizes of the snow particles. The invention relates to a preparation for chemical-mechanical treatment of caries by means of a caries-dissolving two-component liquid. One of the components is an active, caries dissolving component and the other a component which reduces the aggressiveness of the active component to mucous membranes. The active component is a chloride compound comprising active chlorine, i.e. chlorine having a charge state of &plus;1, Cl(&plus;1), which chloride has a somewhat lower reactivity than sodium hypochlorite and then also a somewhat reduced dissolving effect on the carious substance.

A dental instrument is provided for removing caries attacked dentine in connection with chemical-mechanical treatment of caries by means of a caries-dissolving solution applied to the caries for loosening the caries tooth substance.
