A manipulating device, by which flexible flat objects can be repositioned and which has a movable gripping device which includes a support structure and at least one gripping unit. The gripping unit has a clamping arm which, together with a clamping surface of the support structure, delimits a clamping gap, in which a flat object portion can be firmly clamped. By means of a transport structure of the clamping arm which is drivable for a circumferential transport movement, the flat object portion can be transported into the clamping gap for subsequent clamping.

Manipulating device and method for operation thereof

A handling device which is suitable for repositioning objects has an adhesive gripping device which includes a support structure on which at least one gripping unit is arranged. The gripping unit has an adhesive belt which extends between two holding regions and which, in a working region having a longitudinal portion functioning as a gripping portion, is wound around a release deflection element which is translationally movable relative to the support structure. The release deflection element is part of a release system, by means of which adherence of the object can be released again as required. This release system also has a release drive system, by means of which a rotational movement of the gripping portion around the release deflection element, which movement accompanies the release movement, can be caused, leading to the active removal of the adhesive belt from the gripped object.

Handling device for repositioning objects

A Hardware Module for a robotic system includes at least one sensor for measuring an internal property of the Hardware Module, a communication unit for communicating with other Hardware Modules, a data storage unit and an embedded controller. The embedded controller is configured to collect collected data, the collected data including: status data representing the current status of the Hardware Module; and operating data representing usage of the Hardware Module wherein at least part of the collected data is determined from sensor data from the at least one sensor, and the embedded controller is configured to perform at least one of: storing the collected data on the data storage unit; and transmitting the collected data via the communication unit.

Hardware module for a robotic system, and mechanical coupling

A trocar holder for a manipulator of a robotic surgical system. The trocar holder includes a base element for securing the trocar holder to the manipulator and a clamp element which is replaceably connected to the base element via a coupling mechanism. Two limbs movable relative to each other in a clamp plane are formed on the clamp element. The limbs are connected via a spine and have free tips. The trocar holder also has a clamp mechanism for opening and closing the limbs and a receiving element for a trocar.
