A turbine with variable turbine geometry for an internal combustion engine. The turbine includes a bearing housing, a turbine housing, and a cartridge which has a blade bearing ring for mounting a plurality of adjustable blades. The cartridge is fixed on the bearing housing via at least three bolts.

Turbine with variable turbine geometry

A turbine having variable turbine geometry for use in a combustion engine. The turbine includes a bearing housing, a turbine housing and a cartridge, which features a vane bearing ring for supporting a plurality of adjustable vanes. The turbine further includes at least one of a separator disc and a shield ring arranged radially outward of the vane bearing ring.

Turbine having a multipart turbine housing

A coupling rod fitting () having a first end piece (); a second end piece (); and having an intermediate piece () which connects the first end piece () and the second end piece (). The intermediate piece () is formed as a connecting rod and the first end piece () and the second end piece () have in each case one sleeve (andrespectively), which sleeves are pushed onto the connecting rod () and are fixed in an adjustable final assembly position on the connecting rod ().

Coupling rod

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a compressor () which has a compressor housing (), a turbine () which has a turbine housing (), a bearing housing () between the compressor housing () and the turbine housing (), and a control capsule () which has a housing () on which is provided a retaining device () which interacts with a fastening device () on the turbocharger in order to fix the control capsule () to the compressor housing (), the turbine housing () or the bearing housing (). The retaining device () is arranged on an outer circumferential region () of the control capsule (), and the fastening device () fixes the retaining device () in a non-positively locking manner.

Exhaust-gas turbocharger

A regulating rod () has a rod part () which has an end region () provided with an external thread and an end piece () which has a receiving recess (). A knurled nut () is arranged and guided in the receiving recess () and has an internal thread into which the external thread of the externally threaded end region () is screwed. The end piece () further has a weld window () adjacent the knurled nut. Once the length of the regulating rod is adjusted by rotation of the knurled nut, further rotation of the knurled nut is prevented by introducing and filling the weld window with a weld filler such that the knurled nut () is non-detachably fixed and thereby the set length of the regulating rod is fixed.

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a bearing housing (); a turbine housing () which is fastened to the bearing housing (); and a heat shield () which has a heat insulating region () arranged between the turbine housing () and the bearing housing (). The heat insulating region () is provided, in its outer circumferential region (), with a seal ().

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a turbine () which is provided with a variable turbine geometry and/or with a wastegate; and having an actuator () which is connected to the variable turbine geometry and/or to the wastegate by means of a coupling rod () composed of plastic. The coupling rod () is connected, at its end regions, by means of a first eyelet () at one side to a pin () of the actuator () and by means of a second eyelet () at the other side to a pin () of an adjusting lever () of the variable turbine geometry and/or of the wastegate. The eyelets () of the coupling rod () are provided with in each case one metal sleeve (andrespectively).

A turbocharger () with variable turbine geometry, having a blade bearing ring arrangement () which has a blade bearing ring () and a disk () which is fixed to the blade bearing ring () so as to create a flow duct (), having guide blades (') mounted in the blade bearing ring (), and having a spacer device () which is arranged between the blade bearing ring () and the disk () so as to set a defined width (B) of the flow duct (). The spacer device () is formed as an inlet guide grate () which has movable inlet guide blades () which are arranged in each case on a spacer pin () which is fixed with its first end (A) to the blade bearing ring (). Also, a method for producing a blade bearing ring arrangement ().

Turbocharger with variable turbine geometry

A turbocharger () with variable turbine geometry (VTG), having a blade bearing ring (), which has a multiplicity of guide blades (), and which has a stop () at least for adjusting the minimum throughflow through the nozzle cross sections formed by the guide blades (), wherein the stop () has a fixing peg () on which a deformable, arched adjusting section () is arranged. Since the stop is formed as a deformable component which can be fixed in the guide grate, it is possible after the assembly of the guide grate to rework said stop in a simple manner in order to precisely set the required stop position, since said stop is not integrally connected to the guide grate.

Turbocharger

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a compressor (); a turbine () which has a turbine housing (); a bearing housing () which has a compressor-side flange and a turbine-side flange (); a VTG cartridge () which has an adjusting ring (); and an adjusting shaft () which is guided through the turbine-side flange () of the bearing housing (), which has an inner lever () which engages into the adjusting ring () of the VTG cartridge (), and which has an outer lever () which is connected to an actuating element () of an actuator (), wherein the outer lever () has an open rounded fastening receptacle () into which an associated shaft portion () of the adjusting shaft () engages.

A method for manufacturing a turbocharger () with variable turbine geometry (VTG), having a turbine housing () with a feed duct () for exhaust gases; a turbine rotor () which is rotatably mounted in the turbine housing (); and a guide grate () which surrounds the turbine rotor () radially at the outside, which has a blade bearing ring (), which has a multiplicity of guide blades () which have in each case one blade shaft () mounted in the blade bearing ring (), which has an adjusting ring () operatively connected to the guide blades () via associated blade levers () fastened to the blade shafts () at one of the ends thereof, each blade lever () having at the other end a lever head () which can be placed in engagement with an associated engagement recess () of the adjusting ring (), and which has a stop () at least for setting the minimum throughflow through the nozzle cross sections formed by the guide blades (). The stop () is formed as a setting pin which is fastened by means of an automated butt welding process, the position of the setting pin being determined from a previously carried out throughflow measurement with similar guide grates.
