The present application relates to a cell cryopreservation protective composition, the use of the composition, and a cell cryopreservation method. The cell cryopreservation protective composition comprises a zwitterionic molecule having the general formula R&#x2014;N(CH)&#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;R, wherein Ris a linear or branched alkyl having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and is optionally substituted with a substituent; Ris any negatively charged group selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;COO, &#x2014;SO, &#x2014;SO, and (I); and Ris a group selected from the group consisting of (methyl)acryloyloxyalkyl, alkyl and alkenyl; and the zwitterionic molecule having general formula R&#x2014;N(CH)&#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;Ris preferably a betaine compound. The cell cryopreservation protective composition can carry out cell cryopreservation in a non-toxic and efficient manner, and results in an extremely high post-thaw cell survival rate and does not require stepwise cryopreservation. After cell recovery, the cells can be used directly or after being slightly diluted. 

Cell cryopreservation protective composition and use thereof

A superhydrophobic polypropylene porous film, including a polypropylene porous film substrate, titanium dioxide layers and a surface modifier layer, is disclosed. The titanium dioxide layers are deposited on the surface of the polypropylene porous film substrate by atomic deposition technology; a surface modifier is coated on the titanium dioxide layers; hydrophobic bonds are formed between the titanium dioxide layers and the surface modifier layer; the superhydrophobic polypropylene porous film has a water contact angle greater than 150 degrees, a rolling angle less than 10 degrees, an aperture of 0.1-0.4 &#x3bc;m, a porosity of 50%-80%, a tensile strength of 30-50 MPa, and an elongation at break of 10%-30%. The superhydrophobic polypropylene porous film maintains the chemical resistance, rigidity, and porosity of the polypropylene porous film, and has superhydrophobic properties and a good separation effect after working for 80 hours, thus greatly increasing the service life, and reducing operation costs and working costs in a membrane distillation process.

A large-particle spherical salt with a particle size of 400-950 &#x3bc;m and a sphericity of 0.5-1.0 is disclosed, which overcomes the existing difficulty in this field for larger particle size as well as higher sphericity. A preparation method of the large-particle spherical salt is also disclosed, wherein in one preparation process, 2% of gum arabic (based on the mass percentage of solute sodium chloride in a sodium chloride saturated solution) is added, and under conditions of an evaporating temperature of 60&#xb0; C. a stirring rate of 350 rpm, and an evaporating time of 8 hours, a large-particle spherical salt with a particle size of 921.593 &#x3bc;m and an average sphericity of 0.904 is successfully prepared. The large-particle spherical salt prepared by the method has a uniform particle size distribution and good appearance, can be combined with other substances, adding some extra value to the salt. Meanwhile, the large-particle spherical salt prepared by the method has a high safety grade (e.g.: food grade) and can be used as edible salt, nutrient salt or foot bath salt.

A pinch clamp removal tool that includes a tool body having a slot extending partially across a top portion of the tool body and adapted for receiving a nub extending radially-outwardly from a pinch clamp to be removed from a pipe and a stop positioned at an end of the slot for engaging the nub when the nub is positioned in the slot. The tool body is adapted for being rotated to impart a twist to the pinch clamp nub sufficient to break the nub in order to loosen the pinch clamp and permit removal of the clamp from the pipe.

A push-to-connect fitting removal tool that includes first and second handles pivotally-connected for being grasped and manually moved towards and away from each other, a first guide bar connected to both the first and second handles, and a second guide bar connected to both the first and second handles and cooperating with the first guide bar for converting pivotal movement of the first and second handles into non-pivoting, translation motion of the first and second guide bars. A push fitting jaw is attached to the first guide bar and a pipe jaw is attached to the second guide bar for being moved towards and away from each other as the first and second handles are moved towards and away from each other. The push fitting jaw is adapted for at least partially encircling the push fitting and the pipe jaw adapted for at least partially encircling the pipe. Grasping the first and second handles and moving them towards each other moves the push fitting jaw and the pipe jaw towards each other, and twisting the push fitting removal tool, pushes the push fitting off of the pipe.

Provided are an intermediate compound for preparing rosuvastatin calcium and a preparation method of the rosuvastatin calcium. The method comprises: using the foregoing intermediate compound as a raw material, and subjecting the raw material to a step of Wittig reaction, a step of protecting group removal and hydrolysis and a step of calcium salt formation, so as to obtain the rosuvastatin calcium. The product, which is prepared from the intermediate compound, can be substantially enhanced in stereoselectivity and also notably improved in purity and yield; in addition, the method for preparing rosuvastatin calcium from the intermediate compound is simple, convenient and low in cost.
