A strain gauge (), a pressure sensor (), and an interventional medical catheter. The strain gauge () comprises a substrate () and at least two sensitive gages () provided on the substrate (), the at least two sensitive gages () being arranged along two mutually perpendicular directions and sharing one ground port (). The pressure sensor () comprises an elastic body () and the strain gauge () provided on the elastic body (). The interventional medical catheter comprises a catheter distal end and the pressure sensor () provided at the catheter distal end. The present application not only saves the trace space for mounting and using the strain gauge () on the interventional medical catheter, facilitating the successful mounting and use of the strain gauge () on the interventional medical catheter, improving the adaptability of the strain gauge (), but also reduces the size of the strain gauge (), thereby shortening the length of the elastic body () of the pressure sensor () and reducing the size of the interventional medical catheter.

Strain gauge, pressure sensor, and interventional medical catheter

A strain gauge includes: a substrate; a transverse sensitive grid arranged on the substrate; and at least two non-transverse sensitive grids arranged on the substrate so as to be located on opposite sides of the transverse sensitive grid both electrically connected to the transverse sensitive grid. The two non-transverse sensitive grids are connected to each other by a connection and share a common ground lead and a common ground interface. One end of the ground lead is connected to the connection at the middle thereof. The other end of the ground lead is connected to the ground interface. The two non-transverse sensitive grids have equal resistances and are connected to ends of two respective non-ground leads having equal resistances. The other ends of the two non-ground leads are connected to two respective non-ground interfaces.

Strain gauge, force sensor and interventional medical catheter

A ground fault circuit interrupter is provided, including a main control chip, a tripping unit and a self-test detection unit, wherein the tripping unit is connected with the self-test detection unit at a detection point and coupled with a load circuit; the self-test detection unit is coupled with the main control chip, and configured to detect a signal at the detection point and output the signal to the main control chip; the main control chip is coupled with the self-test detection unit, and configured to in a self-test state, simulate a circuit fault, perform self-test, and determine whether the circuit fault could be detected and an alarm signal response to the circuit fault is generated, based on the signal. A self-test function and alarm function response to a circuit fault in a ground fault circuit interrupter can be tested during a final test of production.

Ground fault circuit interrupter is provided, including a transformer, a protection switch, a residual current protection control unit, a residual current simulation unit and a self-test unit, wherein the self-test unit is coupled with the line where the protection switch is located; in a self-test state, the self-test unit is configured to control the residual current simulation unit to generate a simulated residual current, detect a level change on the line where the protection switch is located, and control the protection switch to be disconnected from the residual current protection control unit or to make the line where the protection switch is located be conducted after a preset protection time period of receiving the residual current signal higher than a preset operating threshold. Improper actions of the ground fault circuit interrupter caused by a large electromotive force generated when a simulated residual current disappears are avoided.

Methods and apparatus to improve shared memory efficiency are described. In an embodiment, a first version of a code to access one or more registers as shared local memory is compiled. A second version of the same code is also compiled to access a cache as the shared local memory. The first version of the code is executed in response to comparison of a work group size of the code with a threshold value. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.

Method and apparatus to improve shared memory efficiency

An electrophysiology catheter () includes a catheter distal portion () on which a force sensor () is arranged. The force sensor () includes an elastic tube () and strain gauges (). The elastic tube () has a hollow portion in its wall, and the strain gauges () are disposed external to the hollow portion. Compared to the design with the strain gauges () overlapping the hollow portion, arranging them over solid portions of the elastic tube () allows the strain gauges () to collect more accurate electrical signals while suffering from less interference. This can result in a significant improvement in contact force measurement accuracy of the catheter distal portion ().

The method comprises grouping two or more work groups to form a super workgroup, and positioning a portion of a memory space into one or more super shared local memories (Super SLMs), wherein the memory space which is shared within the super workgroup forms at least one Super SLM of the one or more Super SLMs. The apparatus comprises: a plurality of execution units; a cache memory having a portion which operates as a shared local memory (SLM), which is shared with the plurality of execution units, at least one of which operates on a work group of a sub-slice, wherein the SLM is shared within the work group; and at least one Super-SLM for providing shared memory accessible by different work groups in the sub-slice, wherein the at least one of the execution units operates on the different work groups. A last work group may write data back to a system global memory (SGM) from a Super-SLM.

Apparatus and method to improve memory access performance between shared local memory and system global memory

Disclosed methods support dynamic adjustment of graphics processing unit (GPU) frequency. According to one embodiment, a program comprises workload to execute, at least in part, on a GPU of a data processing system. A predetermined memory/compute ratio for the program is automatically retrieved, in response to the program being called for execution. The memory/compute ratio represents a ratio of memory accesses within the program, relative to compute operations within the program. In addition, a frequency of the GPU is automatically adjusted, based on the predetermined memory/compute ratio for the program. For instance, the GPU may be set to a relatively low frequency if the predetermined memory/compute ratio is relatively high, or to a relatively high frequency if the predetermined ratio is relatively low. After the frequency of the GPU is automatically adjusted, the program may execute, at least in part, on the GPU. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Further, the first AP transmits a beacon.
