A method of wirelessly charging batteries of devices includes detecting at least two devices being simultaneously present on a charging mat. It is determined, for each of the at least two devices, whether the device is compatible with a wireless charging standard. It is determined, for each of the two devices, whether the device is enabled for a near field communication. Charging of the devices is prevented if at least one of the devices is enabled for a near field communication but not compatible with the wireless charging standard.

The disclosure relates to a method, apparatus and system to provide automated audio video conferencing in a conference room. In an exemplary embodiment, the disclosure relates to a mobile device having one or more processors and circuitry. The circuitry may execute a first logic, a second logic and a third logic. The first logic may be configured to receive instructions to connect the mobile device to a wireless equipment in a conference room. The second logic may be configured to obtain conference room information. The third logic may be configured to transmit a request to pair with a wireless equipment in the conference room. The third logic may be further configured to: receive information in a first communication mode that a code challenge will be issued, receive a code challenge in the second communication mode and pair the mobile device with the wireless equipment.

The disclosure generally relates to methods, system and apparatus to detect a rogue object placed on an A4WP charging pad (interchangeably, charging mat). In one embodiment, presence of a rogue object on a charging pad is detected by measuring currents and voltages from sensor circuits on PTU and apply machine learning algorithms to develop power leakage algorithm. The algorithm identifies false objects placed on the charging pad and obviates false alarm while simultaneously detecting presence of a rogue object which can damage the A4WP wireless charging system.

Detecting an object on a wireless charging device

The disclosure generally relates to methods, system and apparatus to optimize wireless charging by providing user notification when wireless charging efficiency is compromised. In an exemplary embodiment, the charging efficiency value of a device under charge (DUC) is calculated. When the charging efficiency value drops below a predefined threshold, the user is notified to relocate the DUC to a new location with respect to the Power Transmission Unit (PTU) to enhance charging efficiency. In another embodiment, a PTU charging efficiency map is generated to help guide the user for optimal wireless charging.

The receiver may align the portable tap in the feedback path with the principal tap in the feedforward path. The platform noise tap may cancel the effect of platform noise on a principal located at the principal tap, thus enabling the computer system to operate effectively in severe platform noise environment. Also, the computer system may operate in statics and portable environment in which platform noise and AGWN may be present.

In one embodiment of the invention, a Fourier transform unit converts unsynchronized data received through multiple antennas to a frequency domain. Also, a spectrum estimation unit determines a power spectrum for the unsynchronized data. A synchronization unit synchronizes the notch filtered data and a noise estimation unit determines a noise covariance matrix between the synchronized data received from multiple antennas.
