A data query method is provided. The data query method includes: receiving from a client a first query request including a first data identifier; sending back first data indicated by the first data identifier to the client; determining a retrieving strategy based on a query time cost of the first data, a loading time cost of the first data, a data freshness target, and a query latency target, retrieving second data and a data relationship that are associated with the first data according to the retrieving strategy from a data destination, wherein the second data and the data relationship meet the data freshness target, and the data relationship includes a relationship between the second data and the first data; receiving from the client a second query request including a second data identifier; sending back the second data indicated by the second data identifier to the client.

Data query method and apparatus for adjusting data loading to reduce query latency

There is provided a method and apparatus for vectorized resource scheduling using multi-dimensional hierarchical arrays with a uniform data type. According to embodiments, the hierarchy of resources may be represented as a multi-dimensional array of a uniform data type in a scheduling context. This data structure is known as a tensor. In various embodiments, a tensor may be used to model each of resource usage, requested resources, resource capabilities, tenant resource usage, etc. There is provided tensor scheduling operations (e.g. tensor scheduling algorithms) to make use of this resource model. Some embodiments may exploit specialized hardware, such as GPUs and tensor-processing units, in order to accelerate the tensor scheduling operations.

Method and apparatus for vectorized resource scheduling in distributed computing systems using tensors

Methods and systems of managing a resource in a distributed resource management system can include: receiving a resource request by at least one processor in the distributed resource management system, the resource request identifying a requested resource type corresponding to at least one of: a class identifier identifying a resource class assigned to a composite resource, and a class identifier identifying at least one additional resource associated with the composite resource; determining availability of the requested resource type; and scheduling a workload associated with the resource request for execution based on the determination.

In a distributed computing network, requests for allocation of resources to tenant workloads and messages identifying resource availability are received and aggregated. Resources are allocated to the workloads in accordance with a distribution policy defining values for resource entitlements of the tenants. The values include pre-emption quantities. In response to determining that a quantity of resources allocated for workloads of a first tenant is less than the tenant's pre-emption quantity, processing of another workload from a second tenant is interrupted to re-allocate resources from the second tenant's workload to the first tenant's workload.

Method and system for multi-tenant resource distribution

The present disclosure is drawn to methods and systems for resource enforcement in a distributed system. At least one first host of the system has an enforcement agent configured to trigger a master enforcement controller in response to the first host running a task requiring access to a distributed resource. The master enforcement controller obtains identification information regarding the distributed resource and transmits an enforcement command to other hosts of the distributed system involved in providing the distributed resource. The enforcement command is received by enforcement agents on each of the involved hosts and triggers a slave enforcement controller on each of the involved hosts. The slave enforcement controllers locally enforce a resource quota for the distributed resource.
