The gate driving circuit includes an input module, a pull-up node, an output module, a first pull-down node, a first pull-down node control module and a first suppression module. The first pull-down node control module controls to connect the first connection node and the first pull-down node under the control of the pull-up node, and inputs the signal provided by the second signal terminal to the first pull-down node under the control of the potential of the first pull-down node; the first suppression module inputs the signal provided by the first level signal terminal to the first connection node under the control of the pull-up node.

An Embodiment of the present disclosure provide a display substrate, including a base substrate, and a plurality of first scanning lines, a plurality of second scanning lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of common electrodes and a plurality of pixel electrodes on the base substrate. The second scanning lines are parallel to the data lines, and the second scanning lines, the common electrodes and the pixel electrodes are in different layers. The common electrodes are located on a side of the second scanning lines and the data lines away from the base substrate, and on a side of the pixel electrodes proximal to the base substrate. An orthographic projection of one of the data line and the second scanning line on the base substrate is located in a spacer region between adjacent pixel electrodes.

The driving method for the display panel includes: in the data refresh phase, loading a clock signal including an active level and an inactive level to a gate driving circuit in a display panel to cause a gate line to load a gate-on signal, loading display data to a source driving circuit in the display panel to cause a data line to load a data voltage, and determining a current operating state of the display panel; and in the blanking time phase, loading a clock signal including an inactive level to the gate driving circuit in the display panel to cause the gate line to load a gate-off signal, and sending the current operating state of the display panel.
